Crema's Take

Salt + Honey is a cozy neighborhood bakery café that excels at creative, flavor-forward coffee drinks like their standout pistachio rose cardamom latte—the kind of place where you can taste the care in every cup. The kitchen matches that same creativity with stellar brunch items like chilaquiles and loaded shawarma fries, all served in a beautifully designed space that feels equally welcoming for solo coffee breaks or family breakfast outings. Fair warning: the popularity means waits can stretch, but regulars agree the food and thoughtful service from staff like Lorelly make it absolutely worth the patience.

The food is ALWAYS delicious! Everything I've had everytime i went was always perfect. The only thing that is horrendous is the wait. But i honestly believe it is due to lack of staffing. My wait for 2 was an hour and fifteen minutes, which is crazy for any day or time of the week. And then the whole time seated, ive seen my waiter only 3 times. They really do need more wait staff. But other than that the food still makes it worth it.

Lorelly was our waitress. She was so kind and patient. It was our first time there and we ordered so much good food. She made some good recommendations. We ordered the Sharwarma loaded fries, the salt and honey burger with onion jam and salt and honey fries, the ribeye and eggs, a n espresso panna latte, and the mint lemonade. All of it tasted so good, so fresh, so flavorful. Everything was amazing. , 10/10.

Solid brunch spot. We had the chilaquiles and the shawarma fries, both were just fine. The pistachio rose cardamom latte was delicious. Would be back to try other things. Great ambiance

I had a wonderful breakfast at this café and can’t stop thinking about it. The rose pistachio coffee was absolutely delicious — fragrant, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I also tried their French croissant, which was perfectly flaky and buttery, easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. The ambiance is another major highlight. They offer three distinct seating areas, each with its own vibe. Inside the main room feels cozy and warm, perfect for a relaxed morning. Outside near the cafeteria booth is a chill, green nook with a laid-back vibe, great if you like a little nature with your coffee. And then there’s the sunny patio extension, where you can sit in the open air, enjoy the breeze, and soak up some sun. It’s the kind of place where you can linger. Service was friendly, the atmosphere inviting, and the overall experience memorable. Definitely a spot I’d return to for a slow morning or a peaceful midday break.

The absolute best breakfast/brunch experience I have had in the SW. Ok, start off beautiful, cozy and socially comfortable seating design. Perfect for those breakfast meetings, family breakfast outings or individual dining experience. The food delicious, flavorful and right sized portions. The server, Moses, absolutely top notch. If you come, request him. He was engaging, attentive and knowledgeable. He provided insight on the menu, checked in regularly and was prompt with his customer care. El Paso this establishment deserves the 5 star review.
