Crema's Take

Lazy Eye Coffee is a spacious, artistic haven in San Diego that strikes the perfect balance between creative specialty drinks (think banana bread lattes and seasonal offerings like blueberry pancake lattes) and a welcoming community vibe. Whether you're settling in for a slow afternoon with friends and your pup or grabbing a quick coffee to go, this dog-friendly spot delivers with thoughtful flavors, solid service, and the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes you want to linger over breakfast and a laptop.

I had a pretty disappointing experience here. They got my order wrong and didn’t really try to remedy it. They insisted I had ordered an iced latte, which I never do. I let it go because I don’t like wasting food, but it wasn’t a great start. Later, I was asked to move from the seat I had chosen because they were setting up for live music. The whole situation felt chaotic. If you know you’re going to have live music and certain seating won’t be available, it would really help to put up signs ahead of time so people don’t settle in. Overall, I felt pretty uncomfortable and won’t be coming back. There are many coffee shops in North Park with better service and a more welcoming atmosphere.

Driving me crazy that the menu isn’t updated for this place anywhere online, so here it is. Fall seasonal drinks are PSL, caramel apple late, and blueberry pancake latte. They only have gluten free bread sometimes. Alt milks are oat (4g sugar) and almond (5g sugar)

Don’t cast a blind eye on Lazy Eye - this cozy and artistic coffee shop with plenty of space for studying, coworking, or just catching up with friends! A pilar of the community showcased in their plethora of local artists represented and kindhearted staff operating the shop!

The banana bread latte was delicious, am always nervous that specialty lattes will be to sweet, but this one was nicely balanced. Great atmosphere n friendly service. Was comfortable and relaxing... almost made it feel like "We were just hanging out in my friends living room" lots of couches to hang out in.

A great coffee shop with great service! Love that it is dog friendly & they have 3 locations in San Diego! Love their peanut butter latte and they do offer milk substitutes like almond milk or oat milk! Service is great and there is lots of space to work here and bring your laptop! Love the avocado toast and bagel with cream cheese!
