Danny’s Coffee & Friends just catered breakfast for our law firm staff meeting and knocked it out of the park! The Cuban egg and cheese sandwiches with different meat options, cafe con leche, and roasted potatoes tasted great and was a hit with our whole team. When dining in, they are so welcoming every time you walk in. They know your usual orders, that’s unless you switch it up on them. You see many regulars in there every morning, which says a lot. Danny herself is warm, friendly, and works hard, and the staff is just as great. The place stays spotless and well run. We are already planning to order lunch next time. Highly recommend stopping by or using them for catering, you won’t be disappointed.
I have deleted previous post and updated review. Will add new pic when I can. Eat in, not delivered. Much better. But not sure why they abandoned me for the last 15 mins. Okay, I think I figured it out. They let you sit there til you get up and pay. Maybe advise brand new customers?
This was my first time here & I will say that I will definitely will be coming back again soon! The atmosphere is really nice & inviting, & the staff is super friendly! I ordered the huevos rancheros with corn tortillas, a beef empanada, a stuffed potato, & a café con leche. All of that came out to just over $20 before tip & I ended up leaving like a stuffed potato! They have their own in house hot sauce which was great, I put that on everything. the Empanada was fantastic, the inside was flavorful & the crust was nice & crispy. I'm always skeptical when it comes to stuffed potatoes like these because a lot of the time the inside ends up being super dry & bland, but thankfully that was not the case here. The stuffed potato held onto the potato consistency on the inside but was not dried out at all. The huevos rancheros was delicious as well, the homemade salsa with the eggs & the corn tortillas made for the perfect breakfast on a cool morning. You can choose to have flour tortillas instead of corn but do yourself the favor & get the corn tortillas you won't regret it! The only downside to this place is that is tucked away in this plaza that has mostly Doctors offices in it so you would probably never know it's there if you weren't looking for it.
Danny’s coffee & friends is THE bomb- I truly feel like a friend of the community after just one stop in. It’s so cozy and cute inside. On the front of their menu they have a small paragraph on the story of the business- A woman with Honduran roots who emphasizes community. And you can feel that immediately, even from the super kind way they greet each guest who walks through the door. First, the coffee- A++! We tried the horchata latte and it had the perfect amount of sweetness and went wonderfully with the meal. The mojo pork was salty and delicious, combined with red beans and rice it was beyond. We also tried the guava & cream cheese bread which was of course great too. Definitely many more things I am going to come back and try here. It is a smaller restaurant and fortunately we got there before the rush on a weekend, because after about 30 minutes there were literally no seats left. So something to be aware of but it is certainly worth the wait and they have pretty quick service even when busy. We also did get helped by Danny herself, and you can tell she is such a kind and genuine soul and loves what she’s doing.
Wowow what an incredible little place! My mom and I stopped in for a late lunch on Friday and we were pleasantly surprised. The employees were as sweet as can be and the food was fresh and had so much flavor. There are many vegetarian options on the menu as well which is something I am always on the hunt for. We will definitely be back!!
