Crema's Take
“Tahoe City Chocolates is a handcrafted chocolate and candy destination where the experience hinges entirely on who's behind the counter—some visitors rave about warm conversations and divine homemade chocolates, while others report uncomfortable interactions. The shop rewards curious candy lovers willing to ask questions and learn about the origins and quality of their offerings, from artisanal chocolate gummy bears to carefully sourced international sweets. Set on the second floor of a mall with a relaxed vibe perfect for lingering, it's best approached with an open mind and a genuine interest in discovery.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

We have gone here twice and it’s been a great experience! The shopkeeper is knowledgeable, kind and he always gives us a bunch of samples. Family has loved the chocolates and gummies we’ve brought them. Will continue to come back when we are in Tahoe!
