Triple C’s Cafe

This might be a little long so bear with me.. I first heard about this place on a tiktok my sister sent me.. with me being Caribbean I thought I gave it a try. When I first went there they was out of mac and cheese so I just got the oxtail pizza and the curry chicken patty. Pizza was just ok, the guy on tiktok hyped it up.. the curry chicken was good. Then I went back a few days later to try the entrée and it was close on a day it was supposed to be open I got in touch with the owner of the company to find out what was going on and he wasn’t sure either HOWEVER the owner was extremely helpful very nice and courteous. I waited for over 45 min for someone to come and open up the shop no one came so I left. Went back again to give it another try and finally got everything I wanted. The food was kinda bland not what I was expecting from a Caribbean restaurant. I was expecting a lot of flavor.. I travel far to come to this place not worth the trip to come here but customer service was AMAZING!

I’m sorry, but ain’t nothing Caribbean or Jamaican about the food at this place. My boyfriend and I went there earlier today and they had not one patty, not beef nor chicken nor did they have oxtails ready. We were excited to try the oxtail pizza so the girl said it would be about 20 minutes for it to be ready. We said OK no problem. 20 minutes went by. We came back inside after sitting in the car to wait then she said it would be another hour for the oxtail pizza because the oxtail was so fatty and she wanted to make sure it was cooked properly so we said never mind with that she offered to do a half jerk chicken pizza with red sauce and the other half curry chicken on the pizza with no red sauce at no additional charge since we already paid for the oxtail pizza and we waited so long for it. She then comes out with my order, which was the jerk chicken combo with cabbage and rice and what I thought would be rice and peas, but it was actually rice and beans, Spanish style not Caribbean or Jamaican. Wasn’t nothing jerk about that chicken it tasted like regular baked/pulled chicken but FLAVORLESS and that cabbage was so SOGGY 🤮. I don’t know if it was oil or what but it was soggy. I was so disgusted. I forgot to take a picture of it. However, the picture below is the picture of what my boyfriend‘s $23 pizza came out to look like we drove away and checked his pizza in the car. We were so upset and disappointed. We drove back and requested our money back because the IG and Tik Tok vids are NOTHING like the REAL thing they serving people smh. There was nothing Jamaican or Caribbean about none of the food. The food is tasteless 🤦🏾‍♀️😒🤮Please save your time and don’t waste your money I’m sorry, but I had to let people know. Triple C’s Cafe AIN’ T it. 🤮😒 Please STOP playin with people’s hard earned money and wasting people’s time playing in the kitchen 🙄😡🙅🏾‍♀️

I usually don’t leave harsh food reviews and love supporting small businesses, but this was very disappointing. After a long wait and drive home, the food was not enjoyable. The yams tasted canned and were the only thing I could eat. The mac and cheese had no flavor, the shredded curry chicken was extremely salty, and the yellow rice tasted boxed and bland. The customer service was great, which I appreciated. I just wish the food matched the service.

We stopped by Triple C's during the week so it wouldn't be busy. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the only thing they didn't have was rice & peas. The food was different, but very good. The oxtail pizza takes a long time because its made fresh, so be ready for a wait. It needed salt, but other than that, was really good as well!

The food was completely lacking in flavor. Cabbage tasted like water. I received only two oxtails, and they were mostly fat with barely any meat. The only redeeming quality on the platter was the sweet potatoes. This was the worst Jamaican food I've ever had, and I couldn't even finish my meal.
