Seven Seas Roasting

Crema's Take
“Seven Seas Roasting strikes a beautiful balance between serious espresso craftsmanship and laid-back San Diego vibes, where you'll find everything from their notably balanced cherry bomb latte to thoughtfully executed pour overs alongside dog-friendly seating and pup cup treats. The cozy-but-not-cramped space welcomes both quick caffeine runs and extended laptop sessions, though the real draw is their stellar coffee knowledge paired with staff who genuinely seem to care about getting your order right, even if their personality can swing depending on the day.”

I loved their cherry bomb latte, not too sweet. Lots of good people and good dogs around :)
Rudest and most unwelcome feeling I've gotten in San Diego since moving here. I understand I stick out but man this visit sucked. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Seeing how they treated other guests, I don't believe so. Had such high hopes after looking at reviews but it is what it is. The shop itself is nice. No hoops to jump through for wi-fi. Music not too loud. Occasionally car zooming by but they can't help that.
Stellar coffee....tied with my other favorite, Holsem, for sure. VERY efficient and very friendly staff in a cozy but not cramped space. Great location...parking pretty easy. Bagels with cream cheese were excellent. Vegan pastries were just so-so: cinnamon roll was a bit chewy/claggy/doughy, and apple pop-tart was bland. I'd skip those.
One of my favorite coffee shop in SD. Can’t dock them stars for their service because the taste is outstanding! Also peep the pup cups 🐶 berries & peanut butter drizzle… how sweet🥰
Loved my visit to Seven Sea Roasting and I think you will too, read more to see why: 1. Let's start with the coffee, it's great! Tastes like they know what they are doing. Perfect temperature, great flavor, all around great. Highly recommend for the coffee. 2. Service, there is something about San Diego coffee shops where I walk in and get a drink a few minutes later. It's amazing. Super fast and high quality. Also, the people working were kind and helpful. Helped me find a treat for my daughter who can't have gluten. 3. Love the details in the space. Awesome aatmosphere. For coming at 7:30 in the morning the place was active. Seems like a spot a lot of people enjoy. Good attention to detail. Highly recommend checking this place out, see photos to get a sense of the space.
