Scooters Java Express
2815 S 132nd St, Omaha, NE
Crema's Take
“This Omaha location has earned a devoted following for its genuinely welcoming atmosphere and baristas who nail their craft, with fans driving 30 minutes out of their way for the experience. While consistency in cleanliness and menu knowledge could use some attention, regulars rave about the quiet, meeting-friendly space and quality espresso drinks that keep them coming back week after week. It's the kind of neighborhood Scooters where the staff knows your name matters more than having a polished aesthetic.”

Met for a meeting.Had coffee, nice, quiet space, no blaring music or any loud distractions
The Scooters was not clean and well kept like a lot of them are. The staff was friendly and the drink was good.
Love scooters, their employees don't know their own drink menu
This has always been our favorite Scooter's. We don't live near by, but make sure to visit this specific location on Sundays and have spent several hundred dollars at this store in just the last year. We have noticed a change the last few months. The girls who used to work Sunday mornings were always so friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. Those girls are now all gone and the place hasn't been the same. We visited yesterday morning, and were not welcomed when we walked in. The girl just stood at the register and looked at us. We gave our order and I must have accidently toggled on my free drink reward. We both ordered brewed coffee, so I definitely didn't want to waste a $9 free drink on that. The girl said there was nothing she could do, so I asked her to cancel the order and start again and she gave up and told the guy that he needed to come over. He got it fixed. I had to remind them to use our reusable mugs, because the girl didn't tell him at all that we had our own mugs. When we got our coffee, my medium brew tasted awful. My husband agreed and just told me to go dump it out and we could share his. To be fair, the workers had no idea my coffee was awful because I had already dealt with their poor customer service and didn't want to have to approach them again. I ran into a friend after that and she said the place has really gone down hill since a new owner took over. If that's the case, then we will have to find a new coffee place to go to Sunday mornings. Bring back the girls who used to work there, pay them more and figure out how to make your customers feel welcomed at your coffee shop.
This is my favorite scooters in the whole world. I literally drive 30 minutes from my house to come here when I'm feeling down and need an especially good drink and welcoming environment. The baristas here are soo so sweet to me every time I come. They're always being silly and friendly, and I've never had a messed up drink here. If you ask for extra drizzle, just know that you're really going to get that extra drizzle 🤭
