Crema's Take
“Chef Heather's Iron Cactus is a vibrant gathering spot that goes well beyond coffee, blending a cozy café with a gift shop and wellness offerings like yoga classes and a sauna. The menu shines with creative, thoughtfully-made options—think cashew mayo chickpea wraps and inventive smoothies—with stellar gluten-free and vegan selections that appeal to everyone, not just those with dietary restrictions. It's the kind of place where locals linger over excellent food and specialty drinks in a genuinely warm atmosphere that makes you wish you'd discovered it sooner.”

Chef Heather does it again! Are we surprised? Not at all!!! 😉 “Chix” Salad Wrap: The fresh veggies, wheat wrap, heavenly cashew mayo, and an amazing chickpea “chix” salad! The flavors are so good, and this filled me up. I’ve been slowly taking myself on a healthier food journey this past year, and sometimes dipping your toes in an unexpected area is totally worth it! I’ve got my favorites from the menu, but I’m glad I tried something new. If you haven’t gotten over to the Iron Cactus cafe, what are you waiting for?! If I can do it, so can you. 🌯🌵💜 Also, not only is the cafe wonderful, the gift shop has so many treasures to be discovered, the yoga classes are calming and informative (I’m thrilled that chair yoga is available), and there’s so much more. I love the cactus crew, and so will you! 🥰
The Iron Cactus Café is my top local spot for breakfast or lunch (and I am not even vegan or vegetarian)! Everything I've ever gotten there has been fresh and flavorful, and the service can't be beat. Favourites include their Santa-Rita Breakfast Wrap, the Rose Quartz Acai Bowl, and the Monks Hood Buddha Bowl but, truth be told, it's ALL good! The ability to order ahead online is super convenient, and Heather is always friendly and welcoming no matter how busy things are. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I had been meaning to check out the Iron Cactus for quite sometime and I'm just sad I didn't visit sooner! From the thoughtful and fun yoga class I took with Erica, to the delicious smoothie, to the incredibly beautiful gift shop....I can't say enough. It's such a warm and welcoming place with so much to offer! I look forward to experiencing some of their other wellness offerings in the near future. Highly recommend!
Update April 2024: the café is phenomenal. Great gluten-free and vegan options. I got the bear paw on gluten free and strawberry hedgehog smoothie. Highly recommend 👌 The sauna is still my favorite. The store is adorable as always. Added some new photos. This place is so relaxing. Came for Saturday morning yoga, then used the salt room, then the sauna, and HIGHLY recommend. Excellent yoga instructor(Erica), salt room was so relaxing with the music, then sweat fest in the sauna. The shop is adorable. Wonderful range of gifts-plants, books, jewelry, candles, crystals, among so much more. Go, your mental health will thank you💓
