Pink Lantern
2400 1st Ave N #1, Birmingham, AL
Crema's Take
“Pink Lantern is a stylish Birmingham spot that's mastered the art of creative cold foam coffees—think Pandan and Ube varieties that actually taste like something beyond the hype—plus matcha drinks that strike that perfect balance between flavorful and not cloying. The aesthetic is undeniably Instagram-worthy with its pink decor done just right, but what really sets it apart is how seriously they take customization, letting you dial in your sweetness level so every sip feels personal.”

First time going there today. Had a strawberry Matcha and tiramisu cloud. Genuinely not too sweet and I can taste different flavors. Also cool coffee shop vibe, pink, but not too much pink lol. Definitely one of the cool spots in Birmingham!
Super cute cafe to sit and read a book! The tiramisu coffee was delicious and there was plenty of seating during the day. I would love to come back and check it out when its a cocktail lounge!
New trendy coffee and bar spot in Birmingham. The atmosphere is on point—stylish, lively, and welcoming—and the coffee absolutely delivers. The Pandan Cold Foam Iced Coffee is a standout, made with bold Vietnamese coffee that’s rich, strong, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the Matcha with Ube Cold Foam with oat milk, which was just as delicious and beautifully layered. Love that they also host drag shows—definitely looking forward to catching one soon. Can’t wait to come back to try more drinks (and pastries next time!).
It was SO cute. Really spicing up Birmingham with some good aesthetic. People were sweet and I love the decor. Also, the Ube Cold Foam Coffee is what’s up… I don’t even like coffee and that stuff was so good.
Pink Lantern is such a vibe. I tried the ube cold foam coffee and the matcha latte, and both were really good and flavorful. I loved that you can customize the sweetness to your liking. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out, from the disco balls to the pink decor and old school touches. It’s a great spot to grab coffee, enjoy a pastry, catch up on work, or just get out of the house for a bit. Definitely a fun and cozy addition to the coffee scene.
