Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea
358 Blue River Pkwy, Vail, CO
Crema's Take
“This locally rooted Vail spot earns serious love from regulars who rave about meticulously crafted lattes and thoughtful house-made syrups like lavender and vanilla, paired with standout pastries like their Asiago bagel. The owner's hands-on presence and genuinely welcoming staff create that rare coffee shop warmth where people linger for the community just as much as the espresso, though be aware that execution can be inconsistent depending on the day. With a bring-your-own-mug discount and a menu spanning specialty drinks to full breakfast, it's the kind of place Summit County coffee lovers actually make their favorite.”

I’ve never had bad coffee before but this was pretty bad.. breakfast sandwich tasted frozen and stale. Won’t be back
Locally sourced, community driven, and exceptional service from the staff. over all an authentic place that has real heart put into every aspect of their business. Taking into account there is no dedicated kitchen space the food menu is very crafty and well done for a light breakfast with your drink The community dedication & location along the river & bike paths is by far my favorite draw! 10/10 stop if you’re passing through on I-70 & need a break or staying in summit county on vacation.
We're coffee shop ppl, we frequent them all and this is our favorite in Summit. Lattes are yummy and beautiful. There's a bring your own mug discount. Food is also great (which is often NOT the case in coffee shops!), esp w addition of bfast sammies. Service is great, even when they get a rush. They are always well staffed - a challenge in the mountains. We are big fans of the community tables and the conversations started w both locals and visitors. They've got a cozy couch and rockers including a kids corner w toys and books. The patio outside overlooks the river and is glorious. The tables out front and back are frequented by the many dogs of summit and they provide water bowls.
The staff here is always so nice and welcoming. The homemade vanilla and lavender syrups are so good, and the Asiago bagel is amazing. Easiest 5 stars ever!!
My husband and I were driving through and have been exploring towns to possibly move to, the owner was the one ringing us up at the cash register. She was very friendly and told us all about the town and how amazing it was. The cafe was super clean, the lattes were amazing! We got the nutty professor and a chai. Very tasty! 10/10 recommend stopping at this place to get coffee or a snack if you’re driving through to support local and get fresh quality ingredients. 🥰 the cafe is along the river. I sat with my daughter and enjoyed my coffee and the cool weather
