Crema's Take

Steamers is a casual Sacramento spot with a welcoming outdoor patio that's ideal for lingering over coffee and conversation, though be prepared for a 4% card processing fee that catches many by surprise. The traditional breakfast and brunch menu has its moments—some regulars rave about the corned beef hash and biscuits with gravy—but portions and pricing tend to disappoint compared to what's pictured online, so managing expectations is key.

BEWARE! 4% charge for any card transaction! Standard breakfast food. Nothing stood out as amazing. Menu prices are significantly higher than photos (as others have mentioned).

$18 and some change for 2 eggs, 2 biscuits and gravy. Pictures in reviews show sausage gravy, with lots of sausage and lots of gravy . I got neither. Absolutely no sausage. Since ordered it to go,I'm eating it. Gave it 2 because the staff is nice. Didn't taste so great either.

Price is outrageous. I ordered a breakfast sandwich by phone for pick-up. I must have looked at an old menu price ($6.75). Arrived and was shocked to be charged over $15 for an egg sandwich on an English muffin with potatoes. Nothing wrong w the sandwich, I just didn't know it came with a side or the high price. I paid but I wish they would have quoted me the price by phone. I probably would have canceled. Also, even if you call ahead, you still have to wait in line awhile behind people ordering. Your food sits there getting cold.

Stopped in on a Sunday morning for brunch. Both the corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy were delicious. We sat at the bar seat tables outside in the front of the restaurant and it was perfect for people watching! Definitely recommend.

Food was decent but not overly impressive. Nice plating and flavor but not super substantial. Burger all around flavor was good, but pattie seemed like a bubba burger that was dressed up with an interesting mayo. Inside + Outside seating is nice and cool atmosphere but you order at the counter and there are no servers attending tables.
