Drowsy Poet at Airport

410 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL

★★★★★4.7(238 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

This airport outpost brings genuine warmth to the travel rush, with staff who genuinely remember regulars and treat every order with care—one reviewer called a morning barista "the sweetest" for the kindness that made their day. Their espresso-focused drinks shine whether you're ordering a traditional cappuccino or exploring their specialty creations, and they've earned their 4.7 rating by respecting customers with a refreshingly low-pressure approach to tipping. If you're catching a flight or settling in for a longer sit, Drowsy Poet feels less like an airport chain and more like a local spot that happens to be conveniently located.

Thank you to the girl that is always there in the mornings! She’s the sweetest and always so pleasant. You have no idea what that means to some of us.

I got a caramel macchiato and it wasn’t too shabby. The barista was nice and flexible. I’d try again!

Drowsy poet is one of my favorite coffee spots and I have never had issues. Service and food is always great. But I went to the airport location and asked for a regular size and the lady with the face piercing was very condescending. I said regular instead of saying medium. She seemed aggravated when I asked about what size the drinks were. Her mannerisms were not nice and she seemed inconvenienced to have to explain them to me. I’m sorry all these coffee shops have different ways of saying their sizings. It was off putting and I don’t know if her attitude went into the drink but it was not as good as it usually is. I hope her day gets better. The other girl working was very nice though! 7/8/25 8am

Their specialty coffee is great. I liked that they have a sign that says let them know if you like to tip instead of asking for a tip before you even receive your coffee like most places when a cup of coffee already costs $6+
