Capitol Coffee - The Queen Baton Rouge
1717 River Rd N, Baton Rouge, LA
Crema's Take
“I need to let you know that the reviews provided seem to describe a venue with gaming machines and live entertainment rather than a traditional specialty coffee shop. The mentions of slots, jackpots, and concert venues don't align with what Crema typically covers. If Capitol Coffee - The Queen is indeed a coffee shop with a distinctive entertainment or music venue component in Baton Rouge, I'd need clearer information about their coffee program, bean sourcing, or specialty drink offerings to write an authentic summary for our community. Could you verify the shop details or provide reviews that focus on their coffee experience?”

1717 was great. Awesome band Sold Out was great! Love the atmosphere
My time was limited, but I had a most pleasant time. I was able to play my favorite slots without delay. Even though there was only one server in the restaurant, she worked hard to get me served quickly once she stopped taking to management sitting nearby. Overall, a great visit! I plan to return soon.
I comes pretty much every day and I like coming to you all facility but the only bad experience I have is that every machine I play I don’t win anything and I loses thousands of dollars sometimes $500-$1000 every night.come and win no money only one to $1200 jackpot since I’ve been coming last year and then that the service is good sometime the waiters don’t want to give you anything to drink. They are very rude and mean but other than that I enjoy coming.
Excellent service received from attendants’ personality to check in on those of us sitting in the “back” so to speak to security ensuring our safety before, during, and AFTER various guests won jackpots ! The bathroom was absolutely spotless with a pleasant scented freshener. Coffee was hot and flavorful! I hadn’t frequented in a minute, however, the QUEEN still does NOT disappoint! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My sister and I went to 1717 to enjoy the N'Tune concert, and it was a great experience. Though we had to wait in line for over an hour, we still had a good time. From what I heard other patrons saying, this is something different that they've implemented to make sure no one takes their reserved tables. I guess this was a growing problem in the past, and this was the most logical response. The food was fab, but I will admit that my sister and I were a bit surprised to learn that there was a limited menu that they used during concerts. We ordered chicken tenders, and they were fresh out the grease! My sis had BBQ covered tenders, and I got the garlic parmesan. Both of our orders were exquisite, though I wish I would have asked about alternative dipping sauces. I'm more than sure that I will go again, just not on a concert night. 😅
