Simple Coffee

This cafe far exceeded my expectations. I had to tend to an errand at the mall. A strong craving for coffee came over me. I walked over to the food court expecting to pay too much for a mediocre coffee. Instead, I was greeted very respectfully by the gentleman barista. The price he gave me was lower than that of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. He was emphatic that he prepared a fresh coffee for my maximum enjoyment. The coffee he served was utterly excellent. It was a work of art. It was better than Starbucks coffee. It was far better than coffee from Dunkin' or Mcdonalds. He even took a moment to hand-stir my coffee with a curly stainless steel spoon. I was stricken by the quality of the coffee, the dedication to service, and the insistence upon serving nothing less than a fresh, excellent product. It showed me the stark contrast between the typical practice of merely going through the motions and the deliberate philosophy of insisting on doing things excellently. The manager said that he also hopes to open a cafe at which he will serve food that he and his family love, done excellently. I see that he has already embodied this philosophy at his coffee shop. I only wish that there were more locations so that I could go back for this LEGENDARY quality. I hope that he will open more convenient locations where more customers can take advantage of his dedication to excellence. It's sad that sometimes some of the best treasures go unnoticed and underappreciated (and lackluster businesses flourish) because persons are not paying attention. I hope that the business will realize its true potential with a better location(s) so that more appreciative customers will notice it's excellence. Thank you again. I am sincerely impressed.

Coffee on point. Thought I would try something new (iced azure latte) and enjoyed it. Turkish coffee - a little on the bitter side but still great quality and smooth. The owner is so kind and very friendly. Had a nice experience and would definitely go back to try some more items on the menu.

Excellent hand crafted foods, and an exciting menu, including homemade Dubai chocolate. It's a gem amidst the dying mall, a diamond in the rough worth visiting! To the owners: please consider attending local festivals and farmers markets! VA Beach Farmers Market, Portsmouth Farmers Market, and many of the popup markets especially around the holidays. I think you guys could really trend on social media with some promoting, good photos of the product, and local networking. A lot of potential and I hope.to see you guys grow.

1st visit and my Vanilla Butterfly latte was AMAZING. Made with butterfly pea flower tea 🥰 Will be returning because the pastries and sandwiches looked delicious as well. WELCOME TO DOWNTOWN!!!

I’ve been stopping by this hidden gem for a month now, and never have I been dissatisfied with the drinks! The owners are also extremely sweet, and I’m always greeted with a smile. Today I tried one of the muffins, and I was pleasantly surprised when it was served warm. Absolutely delicious!
