Crema's Take

This espresso-focused Ann Arbor gem has built a devoted following by nailing both the craft coffee and the community experience, with a backyard patio that locals rave about for its vibrant atmosphere and a cozy indoor space perfect for lingering. Beyond excellent specialty drinks that actually let you taste the coffee, York rounds out the experience with carefully curated food collaborations—think Ricewood pastries and Bao Boys dumplings alongside quality charcuterie and house-made sandwiches—making it equally appealing whether you're stopping by for a quick macchiato or settling in for hours with friends.

I have been here 20+ times and love it; I will keep coming back. Great variety of food and drink options. The backyard is such a fun community vibe, and the indoor area feels cozy if at times a bit crowded. It's great year-round and at any time of day. They also do a great job of hosting events and supporting artists. I love York!

We visit York quite often and absolutely love the atmosphere, the quality of food, and the service. We try to bring our loved ones here to visit anytime they’re in town! We love the outdoor patio area.

Love this spot! There’s a little bit of everything- ricewood, bao boys, and delicious sandwiches. Drinks and coffee are very good, especially if you actually like to taste your coffee. Prices a little high, but the quality makes it worth it. Lots of seating inside and outdoors. 10/10 recommend!

Rueben was tasty. I really liked the buttery crispy bread, though the filling was standard. Service was great; very friendly and fast. Nice patio. Just a bit pricey for the size.

This place is great, ordered a pork and cheese charcuterie. Great quality on the cold cuts, the salami and prosciutto were delicious. We had an aged Gouda and a Camembert. I also had a caramel macchiato and it was great. Made in the traditional Italian style. Great place to stop on a date in Ann arbor.
