Crema's Take

Sara's Too is a genuine mom-and-pop spot in Anchorage that punches above its unassuming exterior with hearty made-to-order sandwiches, homemade soups, and a cozy atmosphere featuring tables, chairs, and sofas perfect for lingering over conversation. While service can be hit-or-miss depending on who's at the counter, the best visits reveal genuinely friendly staff and surprisingly generous portions that make the drive-thru or quick sit equally worthwhile. It's the kind of neighborhood gem where locals know to come hungry and ready to settle in, though consistency seems to depend on catching them on a good day.

It seemed like I was bothering the lady at the drive-through window asking questions. I asked what soups she had today and she acted as if I should have known what soups were on sale today. She seemed very annoyed And was very short in tone with me. Just rude. So rude, that I decided to spend my money somewhere else and not eat there at all.

Got a salmon chowder, flat bread for the soup, and a mocha. The soup was pretty bland and gooey. Flat bread was a piece of sliced bread for an extra $2.50. Not sure but the mocha seemed to be some powdered hot coco. Not sure if it had any milk or coffee in it. This is on an old burger king and still has the tables from it. I don't think people dine in often, but at least it was clean.

Fantastic service; they are so friendly and thorough. Had a delicious HUGE made-to-order sandwich and very tasty soup. I've got tables chairs and even a couple of sofas if you want to relax. Highly recommend this place!

I'm a sandwich lover so of course I had to check this place out. From the outside it seems kinda like just another shop, but it's a mom and pop gem. I went to the drive through and was greeted by smiles from the employees and a dog treat for my pup too. They gave me a menu to circle what sandwich I wanted or the make your own sandwich. I chose to make a veggie sandwich on sourdough with almost all the vegetables they had to offer. Their ordering process was really smooth, I handed the paper back to them and within a few minutes I had a monster of a veggie sandwich in my hands. This sandwich was so jam packed - it was awesome! All the ingredients were SUPER fresh, crispy and crunchy, delicious soft sourdough bread, the perfect amount of condiments. A dream of a sandwich. 10/10 would recommend next time you have a sandwich craving.

Excellent! I will certainly be ordering time and again. I ordered two chefs salad and a cold sub across town and recieved my order in 45 minutes or less. Wonderful customer service and happiness I did greet when the woman arrived to deliver my food. Awe yeah! Great job, y'all!
