Crema's Take

Nestled as a beloved pit stop on the way up to Mt. Baker, Joe's Fine Coffee nails the cozy mountain coffee shop experience with genuinely excellent espresso drinks (their baristas actually pull proper 3-shot lattes) and craveable breakfast burritos that pair perfectly with their golden milk lattes. The cute, chill vibe makes it worth the occasional 20-minute wait, and locals and visitors alike keep returning because the quality justifies the Starbucks-level pricing for a spot that clearly cares about doing things right.

During a recent stay at the Glen at Maple Falls for a girl's weekend, I had forgotten to bring coffee with me to brew. To make matters worse, It was a dreary day with rain, so I definitely needed some caffeine to buzz out my coffee withdrawal-induced crankiness! I remembered I passed this cute little coffee shop the day before, so I decided to pop in and try it out, and I am sure glad I did. As I walked in with my disheveled hair in my PJ pants with a Christmas sweater on, I immediately was transported with the calming environment, cute decor, and aroma of those sweet beans! Also, I need to give a shout out to the barista, Jayden, who turned this dreary day into a cheery one with his amazing vibe! Super cheery smile, polite and genuine attitude, and even commented on our Christmas sweaters. Having people work at an establishment that can totally just change your mood with a smile and great personality is rare these days! I also really did enjoy my coffee and even made another trip the next day to buy another as well as some beans to take back to BC. I will definitely be sure to make this stop again when I am back around next. Thanks for the cheery attitude, Jayden!

Love stopping by here on our way up to Mt. Baker. Their veggie breakfast burritos are so delicious and I especially love their golden milk lattes. It’s such a cute and cozy vibe, and their baristas are always really friendly.

Loved this coffee shop as a last stop into the mountains. 🏔️ The coffee is about the same price as Starbucks, not the cheapest but considering the location and quality it is worth it 100%. The bagels were $4 each, but toasted perfectly and came with two sides of cream cheese EACH. They definitely are not stingy with the little things, which matters to me. The staff were super friendly and are a great connection before or after a long day in the mountains. Not to mention there are several little gas stations, visitor center, gift shop & dispensary all on the same block - everything you need all in one… LOL! Thank you for the wonderful experience all the way from FLORIDA 🥰🥯☕️

This coffee shop is so great! Best spot in the area. Coffee is great and they actually do a 16oz latte the right way with 3 shots! No need to order an extra shot. So happy and I even took some beans home- delicious. Loved the pour over as well- super easy to use and so convenient for traveling.

A fine little coffee shop that makes some really good brews. The store is super cute and has a really chill vibe to it. Wait times can get long sometimes (up to 20mins) but the coffees are worth it. The baristas were super friendly and warm. They have a good seating area and a drive through
