Caracas Bakery

Crema's Take
“Caracas Bakery is a beloved neighborhood Venezuelan bakery where the pastries—cachitos, guava pastries, mushroom and blue cheese pastelitos—are made with genuine care and taste unmistakably fresh. The coffee pairs perfectly with the authentic baked goods, creating a warm, family-friendly gathering spot that fills regulars with genuine affection for this slice of Venezuelan culture. Fair warning: arrive early to beat the crowds that reliably pack this small, bustling space, but the wait is worth it for the real deal.”

I love this place! True Venezuelan bakery vibe, food is delicious, coffee is great and service is excellent. It gets crowded and is small so consider that. It fills my heart to see a Venezuelan business thriving, keep up the good work guys 💜🫶🏾
Caracas Bakery Biscayne is a great neighborhood spot for Venezuelan pastries and coffee. Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the baking. The cachitos, guava pastries, and croissants are standouts, and the coffee pairs perfectly with them. That said, be prepared for crowds. I arrived on a Sunday around noon, waited about 45 minutes in line, and by the time I ordered, roughly a third of the items were already sold out. Service was friendly, but when it’s that busy, things do feel a bit rushed. Overall, it’s a solid bakery with consistently good food and a lively atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting — just try to get there earlier if you want the full selection.
Great place to catch some original Venezuelan pastries. 🥐 was introduced to this place by a Venezuelan so I know they doing something right. The pastries were delicious and very well made. I appreciate the coffee and the fast service. I was in and out very quickly. Great bakery.
We should've gotten there earlier than 10am because the line was as far as the front door on a Monday morning. There is no room for a hostess to greet you or seat you. Just stand in line and order up at the counter, find a seat, and they bring your food to your table. It's an easy process. The server drops it off, says thank you, and quickly leaves. It's all business there. The vibe is casual and very loud inside. I ordered the Croix sandwich with the pork sausage added, which tasted good. My daughter had the Turkey & Brie sandwich, which was just ok. We were excited to try out the Cachitos with Jamon y Queso because of the advertising but they were on the bland side, nothing special. That was disappointing. The one highlight was the Nutella Cruffin. It was perfection. We bought 2 croissants to take home. Our bill was almost $95 for an average breakfast. You should know that they also charge a 5% service fee and they include the tip already. There is a small parking lot in the front that is shared with the other businesses. I'm not sure when we will be back. This place lacks the warmth that other local businesses express.
Caracas is always busy - with good reason. This place has really delicious pastries. One of my favorites is the mushroom and blue cheese pastelito. It is so freaking good. Also the almond croissant is good. Their pastry dough for croissants is a little on the thicker side, but the taste is phenomenal. I love coming here to pick up some treats on the weekends.
