There are many tasty things to try each time! Croissants are reliably delicious, whether plain, chocolate or almond. Mmm. The cakes and other pastries are also worth trying. The people who work there are nice, as well.
Again and again I’ve been disappointed by overpriced and overhyped bakeries with products that can’t even compete with cheap mass produced goods. I was still willing to try again and my husband was skeptical and basically expected disappointment once again. We were late so they were out of baguettes. We instead got a multigrain sourdough, an apple tart that was on sale/leftover from thanksgiving sales, and a chocolate and almond croissant. The bread was wonderful, the tart was one of the best things I’ve ever had and it was interesting/innovative. I have to wonder if they regularly offer it, if they don’t, they should. It seemed to be apple butter with some apple granola on top. The croissant was pretty good and I would get it again. My husband liked the baked goods so much that HE insisted on getting more, despite just making fun of me for even attempting again. The cranberry walnut bread was really great and packed with both. We got another discount tart that was cranberry almond cream and it was honestly not that great and kinda dry. If I had known, I would have gotten another apple one. I honestly don’t think it meets the level of the rest of what they are offering. I saw that they have 3 locations and I’m looking forward to going back. My husband is even insisting on it. The person working there was very nice and helpful.
I have gone to a lot of other places where staff can be less nice especially as it gets closer to closing time. But today I had the pleasant experience of getting to enjoy some great food and amazing service. Miranda seemed like the only person in the store and they really made me feel welcome. I've always had pretty good experiences here, but today I can say that Miranda made my day with their politeness, and offering to heat up my sandwich.
Really nice and peaceful ambience. Walked in here on a Saturday morning for a quiet breakfast and really loved it. All the croissants are amazing. Our drinks took a little longer than expected because I think they had a few takeout orders but barring that, was a nice place to visit. Check it out if you’re in the area.
This is a bakery shop. The environment is nice, the waiter is nice. The atmosphere is quiet. The location is convenient. More importantly, the croissant is delicious and they have the Petite Kouign too. Petite Kouign is difficult to make, hence I believe it is an indicator that the chef is strong at it, though it is quite expensive. It is worth a try once a while.
