Crema's Take

Maisonette transports you to a Parisian café right in Boulder, with buttery croissants, delicate macarons, and impossibly fluffy French scrambled eggs that justify the reverence in nearly every review. The vibe is unhurried and welcoming—perfect for lingering over coffee with friends or family while pastries and light breakfast disappear from your plate far too quickly. This is the kind of place that makes you reconsider your travel plans, especially if you've spent time in France and know what excellence tastes like.

Anybody giving this place a bad review is straight up lying. I tried everything shown on the table and it was so good it had me thinking I should cancel my flight back to the Midwest and live in the trash can next to this place so I can have breakfast here every morning. I’m writing this review before I’ve even left the place because it’s just that important. This place is a gem and the pastry chef is a saint. Thank you for the wonderful treats!

Wow!!!! I had no idea this place existed until my son was looking for a place for coffee nearby. Having lived in France for 15 years, we appreciate all good things. Our taste test included pastries and baked goods. Their hot chocolate is very rich and yummy. Breakfast was French toast with bananas and Nutella. My son ordered a croque Madame. I will be back.... With many friends. This is my new favorite place in Boulder.

The French and tomato basil scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy. Macaron was awesome. I'll definitely be back!

I'll definitely be back! Delicious croissant, buttery, crispy, and soft. The French scrambled eggs were so soft and fluffy they melted in your mouth. The quiche was also very rich and filling. Didn't try any sweet treats this time, but will be back.

Had three pastries. Croissant was not very crispy or buttery. Almond croissant super dense. Tart flat tasting. I do like the location. It’s a nice spot for a coffee but for pastries I’d go elsewhere. Jeannot’s in Lafayette has much better croissants
