Calm and modern environment. I could live there! Coffee and Danish were spectacular, and the staff were kind and helpful. It's a 25 minute drive for me but I will absolutely be going back!
Huxley has a new coffee house! Delicious coffee in a relaxed and comfortable setting on the south side of town, off Highway 69. Their coffee is roasted by Windmill Coffee (Burgies) in Ames, and the treats are from Huxley’s own Stallie’s Sweets. YUM! Heritage coffeehouse also has space available for rent. It would be a beautiful spot for a family reunion, shower, wedding reception, or birthday party.
What a beautiful space! We came in last Sunday and had the honor of meeting Sydney and Jen who were extremely welcoming. We got a cold brew and hot Americano--both with good roasts. They use Windmill coffee from Ames which we know and love. They had a cancelled order so I also got to try a latté special on the drive home. It was surprisingly very well-balanced and not overly sweet which is something I'm leery of in today's coffee culture. Kudos to Sydney on the perfect execution on that, and to Jen for making one of our favorite cold brews! The girls encouraged us to explore and I was thoroughly impressed by the attention-to-detail around every corner. I'm definitely planning on booking an event here in the future!
Great new place in Huxley! The latte was definitely on the sweeter side, but the interior of the shop was great. Nice place to work from home!
