Crema's Take

Tucked just off Cerillos Road, this Santa Fe gem blends a thoughtfully curated cafe with a general store vibe, complete with books and gardening finds that make you want to linger over your expertly prepared avocado toast or coconut pancakes. The carefully chosen background music and distinctly casual Santa Fe atmosphere create a sunny, cozy refuge from the chaotic street outside—perfect for those who appreciate coffee paired with intentional design and a little browsing on the side.

It's a really cozy place. The location (right off Cerillos) is a bit chaotic, but inside it's very nice. I sat in a sunny spot with my coconut pancakes. The pancakes don't look like much visually, but the passionfruit curd hiding under the cream is very tasty, and I greatly enjoyed my meal. I saw some folks working on laptops, so I guess this is a good place to sit for a while and get some work done.

It’s my go-to for avocado toast when I am in Santa Fe. The background music is always so carefully curated and the food is thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is distinctly Santa Fe casual. The kitchen staff and servers are young and cool. And there is also a small home goods and book section which is fun to browse while you wait for your food to arrive.

The best food I've had in Santa Fe so far. The cafe has a fantastic design. It is wonderfully equipped with a variety of offers from books to gardening. The service was fast, but the servers were not very friendly or interested in any story or questions we had about the food.

This is a business is desperate need of on-site management. My mom and I had breakfast here because it is a charming setup with good food. However, it was freezing. Like people eating in their long winter coats freezing. The building was freezing, the food was served on an ice cold plate so it got cold, and the latte was lukewarm because the cups were ice cold. When we asked the cashier, she said it was because they just opened and hadn't turned on the heat yet. And then walked to turn it on, and they had been open a half hour. It's 35 degrees out! Server did not care or seem to think any requests worthy of action, and simply was not professionally prepared to deal with problem solving. It was frustrating to explain the problem, get no action, have to ask for a manager to solve it, wait for the now surly-cashier to call an off-site manager to approve a comp, and then have her yell at us to bus our own table when we left. After keeping the 20% tip! Great concept, awful service and experience. p.s. to management: I looked for an email and asked server for contact info for manager to give this feedback privately, but neither was to be found.

Lovely experience with such a light atmosphere and lovely coffee. I had the coconut macaroon which was amazing and toasted to perfection. Such a cute little store to stop by ans pick up a few items or just have some food or coffee even. Very appreciative of the store and the members who work here for providing a great experience.
