Wild Starr Coffee House
500 W 6th Ave, Eagle River, AK
Crema's Take
“Nestled in Eagle River, Wild Starr Coffee House is a genuine gem where the owners Angel and her mom create an exceptionally warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back again and again. Their signature drinks like the Adventure Latte and the Alaska Latte (a divine cardamom and vanilla blend) showcase real creativity, while their breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and açaí bowls are made with genuine care—the kind of place where an extra snack for cruise-bound guests feels natural. This is slow coffee done right, with an adorable gift shop and a calm vibe that makes it perfect for lingering, meeting friends, or finding refuge from a disappointing hotel breakfast.”

I was in Alaska this summer and spent so much time at Wild Starr! This cafe has amazing coffee and the Adventure latte is to die for. Angel and her mom are the nicest people you can meet and she takes the time to walk around and meet the people sitting in the cafe. She cares so much about the business and is doing an awesome job! If you have time, definitely make a stop at Wild Starr - you won't regret it!
Great little cafe and store! Tried the breakfast sandwich, served to perfection. I liked the coffee. Do get the hot sauce if you are getting the sandwich
This is such a wonderful gem in Anchorage. The coffee shop vibe is so calm and welcoming. The gift shop is adorable. The cardamom and vanilla (Alaska latte) latte is divine. The açaí bowls are absolutely delicious. We would come every day if we could.
We stopped here before embarkation for our Alaska cruise. Who I am is assuming was the owner was super sweet. Breakfast burrito was delicious ! She was kind enough to leave a few extra snacks for us. If I ever come visit here again, the place is worth while !
What a welcome relief to discover this coffee house. Out hotel-included breakfast was awful, but I found this place and it made up for everything. The coffee was wonderful and my son and partner loved the breakfast they ate there. The woman who runs the place was so lovely and I found out they also have a store included. Oh boy, we bought more things there :). She said I could also contact her if I wanted some things shipped to me. There were a lot of authentic Alaskan gifts to buy ... definitely a plus!
