Crema's Take
“Nestled in a charming historic stone house, this Lawrence gem pulls off the rare trick of being both a serious coffee destination and a genuinely welcoming community gathering spot, where thoughtfully made lattes and fresh pastries pair perfectly with a crackling fireplace and eclectic, cozy decor. The staff strikes that sweet balance between friendly and professional, making it equally comfortable whether you're settling in with your laptop for hours or just passing through—locals clearly consider it their go-to morning ritual. With quality ingredients like oat milk and natural flavorings, plus a naturally inviting atmosphere that feels curated rather than forced, it's the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you've left.”

That was a great vanilla latte and oatmeal fruit bar! All while sitting by a very cozy fire with friendly but professional staff in a historic stone house! Loved the whole experience! I'll be back.
Fantastic coffee and cozy vibes!! They have done a great job decorating for Christmas! Definitely worth stopping in!
This is an awesome place to stop for coffee. If I lived here, this is where I would go every morning. They had oat milk , natural flavorings and a really cozy and eclectic atmosphere. It is very inviting and I would be happy to support this kind of business. ♥️♥️♥️ my dog was quite happy to be here too. We sat outside to enjoy the light breeze before getting back on the highway.
Stumbled upon this place while passing through the area, and what timing did we have! We walked in and there was a crowd of people so large we almost left. Thankfully we didn't, because we got to see how neat this place is. There was a "Caffeine Crawl" group ahead of us but the line actually moved really fast, and we shockingly didn't have to wait too long for our food and drinks. The staff was really nice and we loved the unique twists on classic menu items. They do not brew their own coffee beans here but have a partnership with Messenger Coffee in KC. The coffee was fine, but we especially enjoyed our food. The atmosphere was very unique - adorable house with a fireplace and cozy chairs (porch swing, outdoor seating, bar stools, a couch, you name it). They also have some surprises to the space if you explore. ;) While we waited for our order, the owner spoke to the group ahead of us and we got to hear about how/why the place was started and wow! What a cool story. The owner has done this, not for any income, but as a passion project on the side of her job as a way to give back to her community. They host a lot of events & meetups here it sounds like - basketball, concerts/musical events. So unique! I recommend checking this place out - a cozy spot that contributes to others? Win win.
I had heard about this coffee shop from a friend and decided to trek out to De Soto to check it out. I was NOT disappointed! It had ample seating, friendly staff, and a calm atmosphere. This is such a fun little shop! I got their brown sugar and sage latte, it was fabulous! I also got their pumpkin bread and it was very moist. I am looking forward to coming back to this quaint little place
