Crema's Take

This charming Ridgeland spot wraps you in warmth from the moment you step through the door, with hand-painted walls and colorful decor that make it feel like a genuine gathering place for the community. Beyond the inviting atmosphere, La Margarita shines with authentic Mexican flavors—their Mazapan lattes and chilaquiles are standouts, paired beautifully with housemade pastries and tacos that keep locals coming back. It's the kind of cafe where you can linger over a cappuccino, catch up with family and friends, and actually feel like you belong there.

The torta and cappuccino I had were fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The 5 star rating that sent me there was spot on.

Everything here was spot on. The place itself is beautiful. The hand-painted walls and colorful decor give it a nice feel. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel welcome as soon as you sit down. The food was fantastic. The steak came out sizzling hot, and full of flavor and spices. The sides were fresh and delicious — loved the rice, beans, and the crispy curly fries. The guacamole was excellent and the chips were seasoned nicely. Everything tasted like it was made with care. And that dessert… easily one of the highlights! The tres leches cake was light, creamy, and just sweet enough, topped with fresh berries. It looked amazing and tasted even better. The staff was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and incredible food. The restaurant is located within walking distance of a few hotels. I would definitely go back if I am passing through Jackson again.

Wonderful atmosphere. Awesome service. Authentic homemade tacos. The best was Micheaguas with fruit (may not be the correct name). They have fantastic desserts too. I will go back.
