Crema's Take

Coffee Plant Roaster draws serious espresso enthusiasts and breakfast lovers to their Eugene counter, where the shots are genuinely delicious and the breakfast burritos are hearty enough to anchor your morning. The vibe skews toward slow, intentional coffee culture—expect a line and a wait, but you'll find genuine quality in both their espresso-focused drinks and made-to-order food that justifies the patience. Fair warning: their pace can be glacial and consistency occasionally slips, but when everything lands right, it's the kind of place that becomes a favorite.

Their espresso is very delicious. I love getting their breakfast burrito with avocado added. The burrito is very filling yet still fresh and hearty feeling.

They lag! Took forever to get my chai. People after me got theirs first. The chai didn’t have much flavor. We wanted food but the wait was 30 minutes. The muffin wasn’t cooked all the way! I have been wanting to try it. Maybe I will try a second time. But for now I wasn’t impressed!

It's hard to find a coffee shop this pretentious in Eugene. And iv tried this spot multiple times, once I waited half an hour for a cold bagel, the next I made the mistake of coming in about 3:45 and was treated like I was in the way of them closing ( he mopped around my table while I sat there). While I appreciate the atmosphere the staff is often hipster style rude. As though they all have something better to do. While charging higher prices than most this coffee shop also up charges $1.25 for oat milk in a drip coffee, This means a single cup of coffee ends up costing you more than $5. A 16 oz latte maybe thats ok to charge, but less than 2 oz in a 12oz drip. Unacceptable. Change this overcharge and address this review and I will gladly update it.

Great atmosphere for coffee and breakfast. You get great quality here. Found one of my favorite places. Also service with a smile from the staff. When I was here line was out the door. That says a lot!

We ordered the breakfast burrito and avocado toast with a house coffee and tea. My only complaints are that the avocado toast, which was beautifully portrayed on the website with an abundance of edible flowers etc, actually comes out on a thick cut, dry piece of bread with NOTHING but avocado and an overwhelming amount of red pepper flakes and that the availability of the items on the menu are largely inconsistent from day to day. The coffee is very acidic, but decent. Otherwise my breakfast burrito was phenomenal, the staff are patient and the environment is really nice. I also like that they have vegan/gluten free options!
