Red Silo Coffee Roasters
1540 Platte Street, Denver, CO
Crema's Take
“Red Silo brings Denver's beloved roastery expertise to the LoHi neighborhood with a spacious, welcoming spot that feels built for lingering—whether you're nursing a meticulously pulled espresso or settling in with your laptop for the morning. Their baristas clearly know their craft, delivering latte art and thoughtful pour overs that draw Australian coffee devotees, though the kitchen's consistency seems to lag behind the coffee program. If you're after serious specialty drinks in a cozy, social atmosphere with good breakfast vibes, this new location captures what made their original spots worth visiting.”

FREEZER BURN ON MY SANDWICH Not only did my "turkey pesto panini"- if you can call it that- take 30 minutes, but when I bit into this sandwich it was ice cold. I opened it up to reveal FREEZER BURN. Disgusting and appalling. (See photo for evidence).
Red Silo Coffee is a Denver favorite with locations around the metro area, and their new Platte Street spot did not disappoint. The space is cozy and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or grabbing coffee on the go. I tried the Orange Creamsicle Espresso Tonic (so refreshing!), Iced Ube Matcha, and an Iced Chai Latte with oat milk. The pastries were just as good—the almond croissant and cinnamon roll were flaky and delicious. The gluten-free vegan chocolate espresso bundt cake was surprisingly rich and moist, and the carrot bundt was flavorful too. Great coffee, tasty treats, and friendly service. Definitely a must-visit!
An avid (australian) coffee drinker I always search high and low for good barista coffee. The Coffee and service here was great. You know it’s going to be good when there is Latè art to start. Highly recommend the rich roast and flavor of the Coffee here. Also enjoyed a nice fresh breakfast bagel!
I had high hopes going to this new spot, but was very disappointed by the overall experience. When I asked about the difference between the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito aside from the bread being different, the woman working did not have a helpful response. Instead, she was sassy and rude. Additionally, the bacon on the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich looks worse than microwaveable bacon and there’s barely any included. Not worth the money or effort going there!
Beautiful new location by one of the premier craft roasters in the Denver Metropolitan area! Everything you know & love about Red Silo Arvada & Golden is now available to the LoHi neighborhood! Tasty homemade pastries and an excellent cup of coffee, all with friendly customer service to boot! One of my favorite things about this location, that differs from their other locations, is that they offer breakfast burritos from Spruce - a local business out of Boulder. I had the sausage burrito & it was delightful - fluffy scrambled eggs, refried beans, potatoes & plenty of sausage - YUM! I love that Red Silo partners with and supports other Colorado small businesses! I also enjoyed a refreshing Iced Americano featuring beans sourced all the way from the Huila department of Colombia. I tasted notes of juicy peach and smooth milk chocolate! Simply delish! If you are a resident of LoHi, look no further - you have found your next favorite coffee shop! If you are visitor of the Denver area, I highly recommend making a stop as it will certainly be a highlight of your trip!
