Tous Les Jours Cafe

Crema's Take
“Tucked in La Jolla Village, this beloved neighborhood gem has mastered the art of the French-inspired pastry case, with consistently fresh, beautifully crafted treats that strike that perfect balance of indulgence without being cloyingly sweet. Beyond the pastries, their creative specialty drinks like the tiramisu latte and matcha are equally thoughtful, making it the kind of place where UCSD students and locals alike can linger over genuinely excellent coffee and pastries without pretense or the sting of inflated prices.”

Tous les jours is my favorite bakery in san diego!! Everything in the display case looks beautiful and delicious. The pastries are always super fresh, and I love that nothing is overwhelmingly sweet. It teels lighter and more balanced compared to most bakeries. Their cream cakes are my favorite are so soft and flutty, and the whipped cream frosting doesn't teel heavy at all. I've tried almost all their pastries, and everything tasted very fresh fresh, you can tell they put care into how things are made. The vibe inside is also really nice. It's modern but still cozy, and it's a good place to sit and chat or get some work done. I've gone both when it's busy and when it's quieter, and it still feels comfortable either way. Service has always been very nice, the workers always offer to heat items up and pack them as well. Overall, it's one of my go-to spots when I want dessert that feels a little elevated but not too heavy. Definitely recommend if you like lighter, less sugary baked goods.
Great café with a lovely selection! I tried the matcha and the tiramisu latte, along with several pastries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, the quality is great, and the waiting time was short. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
I absolutely love Tous Les Jours, and I highly recommend it to anybody who is in the area 👍 You'll especially find a lot of UCSD students coming here to grab a coffee and do some work. I personally really enjoy the Tiramisu latte the most, but I also tried their Matcha, which was good. Their pastries are also super delicious and great to snack on. I recommend their Tiramisu, the banana & nutella pastry, and the mini sausages pastry. The only thing that kind of sucks is the limited seating indoors, so it's often pretty hard to find a table, but there are tables outside they just don't have outlets. Overall, I would say you can't go wrong with anything here!
I visited this café located in the La Jolla Village shopping mall on a Saturday morning, and it was a really pleasant experience overall. As expected for the weekend, the place was quite busy and almost all the seats were taken, which to me was a good sign that it’s a local favorite. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so depending on your mood you can enjoy a cozy atmosphere inside or a more relaxed vibe outside. What stood out right away was the variety of pastries. They offer everything from donuts and muffins to different types of breads and cakes, so there’s definitely something for everyone. The display looked fresh and inviting. I tried the pain au raisin, and it was excellent—the outside had a nice crispness, while the inside was soft and chewy with just the right amount of raisins for sweetness and texture. I also had a sausage roll, which was warm, savory, and really satisfying. Their drink menu was another highlight. In addition to a solid coffee selection, they also have teas, which is nice if you want something lighter. The staff were friendly and efficient even with the morning rush, which made the experience even better. Overall, this café is a great spot to grab breakfast or a quick treat while shopping in La Jolla Village. The combination of tasty pastries, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere makes it a place worth revisiting.
My husband and I were looking for breakfast / pastries and he found this spot on doordash. I'm a huge pastry and bakery fanatic and I've been to a lot of the top ones in San diego, and I cannot believe how I did not come across this place! I don't understand how they do not have five stars, I would give them 10 Stars if I could. There stars and not a true reflection of how good this place is! It is TRULY AMAZING! I love love love this place! There are so many items on the menu that we were interested in so we ordered a whole box and made it our own tasting experience! Everything was wonderful, the bread of the pastries was made in great quality and fresh. Everything came with unique and wonderful flavor combinations. I was honestly so impressed. This is a 10/10 French Asian bakery! Honestly this is going to be my new bakery to go to from now on. A few of my favorites: garlic cream cheese, feta danish, onion pastry and blueberry filled donut (sorry I dont remember there exact names) They have officially made it to my second favorite place I've eaten all year! ❤️
