Crema's Take

Island Provisions is a warm, welcoming spot in Downtown Charleston where locals linger over house-made syrups and thoughtfully crafted drinks—whether you're grabbing a quick matcha or settling in with a laptop for hours. The menu hits all the marks with standout breakfast sandwiches (especially the croissant), silky smoothies, and creative specialty drinks that keep people coming back, paired with solid pastries and light fare that won't break the bank. It's the kind of place that feels equally at home for a solo work session, a casual friend meetup, or a family breakfast, with genuine service that makes each visit feel genuinely cared for.

This spot never let us down! We got coffee three mornings in a row while in Charleston and everything we got off the menu was solid. House-made syrups were available. Comfy location, and great service. The only thing I’d comment on was branding! We were walking on King street and people stopped to ask where we got our coffee and we almost forgot the name of the spot! It wasn’t on the cups. Other than that it was a solid place with a cute outdoor area to sit and eat on the side.

Came with a few friends for brunch! Was an amazing experience and spot overall! Would def recommend. Had the BLT my shelf, came with chips, a meal, coffee and tip would set you at around $20-$25!

Had a really good experience here. The smoothies are delicious and super refreshing. The matcha is also really good, smooth and flavorful. Bagels were solid too, great quick breakfast option. I went on a Saturday and it was definitely busy, a little hard to find a table, but that just speaks to how popular it is. Overall a great spot if you are looking for a casual breakfast or drink stop.

One of my favorite spots to order a breakfast sandwich and settle in to get some work done on my laptop. I always enjoy coming here and frequently recommend the food. My go-to order is either the Boss Bagel, which has delicious hot honey, or the Somewhat Healthy bagel, which I swap for an everything bagel. Both are so good. The staff are consistently kind, even when they’re clearly slammed. I also love that there are usually plenty of other people working on their laptops, which helps create a motivating, productive atmosphere. That said, it is a bit pricey. The Somewhat Healthy bagel doesn’t even come with protein, and adding bacon is an extra $3, bringing it to nearly $12 before even adding a drink. Still a great spot overall, just something to keep in mind.

A friend recommended this place to me, so I decided to try it, and wow, it was delicious! The picture is of their Breakfast Croissant. I highly, highly recommend it; it's absolutely amazing. The iced coffee was great too. It gets quite busy in the morning, but overall, I really love this spot!
