Crema's Take
“Little Hen brings a whimsical English garden-party energy to Miami's coffee scene, where the flowery aesthetic and charming ambiance feel as carefully curated as the thoughtfully crafted drinks themselves. Whether you're settling in for slow-sipped specialty coffee, a leisurely breakfast, or just pastries and conversation, the genuine hospitality—like server Karolina's attentive recommendations—transforms a casual visit into something that feels intentional and special. It's the kind of place that turns a regular morning into an experience worth lingering over.”

This place is unique, the food and drinks are amazing and the service is spectacular. My server Karolina did an amazing job at making me feel welcomed and recommending what to try. I was indecisive; everything on the menu looked amazing. I ended up having the ham & Gruyère omelette, the banana fosters French toast, and to drink: the corazon sin fuego tea (which is hibiscus w/ lemongrass, cinnamon and lavender). It was all very well made and satisfying. I had to try the pastries for the full experience, of course, and they did not disappoint. The scones, raspberry croissant, almond croissant and the Belgian chocolate croissant all to die for, paired excellently with a hot cup of cappuccino. Overall rate this place a 10/10. The decorations and vibe were immaculate. Will definitely return for the food and welcoming service. Thank you Karolina!
THE MODEST CHARM OF ENGLISH BOURGEOIS ELEGANCE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I had to give this place a title, it would be exactly that. Little Hen is not just a restaurant — it is an experience. From the moment you step inside, you are transported somewhere between a refined London townhouse and a delicate countryside tea salon in Old England. If you’re longing for a proper afternoon tea in London but find yourself in Miami, this is your answer. The atmosphere is effortlessly aristocratic without being pretentious — polished, graceful, and quietly confident. There is something beautifully restrained about it. The florals, the china, the soft pastel palette, the gentle hum of conversation — everything whispers elegance rather than shouting luxury. And yes, you’ll even spot guests in charming hats, fully embracing the spirit of a true English tea party. It feels like stepping into a scene where time slows down and manners matter again. The service is impeccable — attentive yet discreet. The presentation of each dish is delicate and thoughtful, as if prepared for a royal garden gathering. Whether you come for tea, brunch, or simply to indulge in something sweet, you leave feeling as though you’ve briefly lived inside a refined British daydream. If you want to feel, just for a moment, like you’ve been invited to tea in Old England — this is the place. Absolutely five stars.
Wow.. never thought i would be that one to write a bad review on a place and just move on. But the way my group was treated last week will be the reason i don’t recommend any to this place. Yes, it’s that aesthetic and atmosphere you look for in places in miami for the social media aspect but the drinks are DISGUSTINGLY UNENJOYABLE. not just mine everyone at the table. I got the Rose lychee martini literally tasted like dirty rose water and not a drop of alcohol. My friend that is pregnant asked for a Virgin drink that was best on the menu and wow it was nasty. We let the server know and she apologized and said she would remove it from the bills. At check out she showed us the bill with them still on it she said oh sorry let me tell the manager. The manager walks up with an attitude and says what’s wrong we let her know that the drinks were untouched. She was very unaccommodating and saw she was trying to come up with an excuse to have us pay full price while holding the handheld to my face so i can pay already for something we took a sip of and didn’t want. She thought…. and was like oh all our items are final sale and it’s on their website as a policy . i asked politely if she can show me , she didn’t find it and was like wellllll it’s on their menu i asked to show me please and she was showing me something that was talking about gratuity as if i was dumb!!! Every restaurant i’ve been to i never heard of FINAL SALE and if so and least have it written be more accommodating and not lie to your customers. I paid it full and tipped my waiter aside from the gratuity that was included because it wasn’t her fault but the managers lack of customer service. aesthetic 10/10 Food: 2/10 Drinks: -10/10 🍅🍅🍅 be careful on the places in Miami that look good on socials and catfish because this is one of them
I was excited to dine outdoors, but Mother Nature had other plans. The indoor dining room was nice with a very English feel to it. The food was great and service was good. The avo toast was great, would have loved a sourdough bread instead though. All in all, pretty good. Would return.
Such a vibe. Whose ready for a Tea party? Put on your dress and have a day party at the Lil Hen. We went for bite to celebrate my birthday and the atmosphere was so cute. I loved the flowery decor and the tea fine china plates and cups. The food was delicious. Bel our server was amazing and recommended some great choices. I highly recommend a reservation, especially on the weekends.
