The Coffee Shop

2078 US-98 #108, Destin, FL

Crema's Take

This charming Destin spot doubles as a community gathering space where live music and open mic nights create an unexpectedly vibrant atmosphere, complete with musical-themed decor, board games, and a lending library of books. While reviews are genuinely mixed on execution—some rave about their specialty lattes and creative flavors (including sugar-free options), while others report inconsistent coffee quality and prepackaged food—the owners' obvious passion for their community and the homey, nostalgic vibe shine through clearly. Best visited if you're drawn to the experience and social scene as much as the coffee itself.

Food, looked prepackaged and store bought, the service was subpar. the coffee was disrespectfully bad. I asked for a 6oz cappuccino, I was given 3 oz of actually drinkable coffeee and the rest was foam. I know capuccinos tend to be dry, but this was absurd. the pull from the espresso was over extracted and the milk over frothed. The barista needs to work on his skills before serving anyone again. The atmosphere was nothing to note. I wish I could get my $5.65 back and spend it somewhere better.

Awesome coffee shop with musical themes and decorations on every wall. There is a small stage and small selection of games and books. I ordered a grilled cheese and iced strawberry latte. There is a large selection of syrups. I highly recommend this place!

I love this coffee shop! The coffee was REALLY good, with a huge variety of flavors (including sugar-free). It was also the first time I'd ever gotten an iced latte that wasn't in a plastic cup (biodegradable bamboo, very cool). The space is quirky and funky and cool, and the bathroom was super clean. We really enjoyed speaking with the owner, and wish we were in town longer to come back and enjoy more coffee and some live music.

Amazing little coffee shop featuring live music and open mic nights. The place feels very homey and nostalgic and you can tell that the owners truly care about their community. ❤️ love this place! Honey oat milk latte was 10/10.

Such a gem. You can easily miss the small coffee shop, which is really nice inside. There is live music tables and comfy chairs to read books that you can loan from there. There are small bites and made to order larger bites. Their coffee is Guatemala coffee with slight sourness similar to Sumatran coffee. I am more fan of South American grown coffee with woody taste. The cold brew (all are nitro) was very good.
