Ladybug Espresso

5915 Hannah Pierce Rd W, University Place, WA

Crema's Take

Ladybug Espresso is a drive-through style coffee stand in University Place that specializes in sharp espresso drinks and creative specialty beverages, with a notably memorable crew who genuinely remember regular customers and their orders. The spot has a distinctive, intimate vibe that catches some folks off guard if they're not familiar with this type of casual coffee culture, but loyal customers keep returning for years because of the personal connection and consistent quality. Fair warning: this is a place where you're paying a bit extra for the experience and the people behind the counter, not just the coffee.

Places like this shouldn’t be open 24/7. Protect these women. Attempted kidnapping and this place is still open like normal? Insane.

Literally the worst attitude over an order. Miscommunication and misunderstanding can happen but nah this blonde girl in white netting type bikini at 2am in the morning is complaining on receiving orders she gets paid from. Beyond unprofessional.

I went to ladybug getting off the freeway from a drive back from Bend, Oregon. stopped at this specific location. i got a 12 oz hot chocolate. My main debit card was not working, so i used a card that had $15 on it. considering how pricey it was already, i couldn’t leave a tip with that card. once i handed back the signed receipt, i was met with a very rude “if you’re not gonna tip don’t come here” bbg, i woulda if my card worked. so, considering that experience and seeing that mid bikini baristas are tripping over tips like door dashers. P.S. i tried the hot chocolate and it tasted like moldy hot water.

If you have never been to this type of coffee stand before, it might catch you off guard. The young lady was very nice and talkative. Items were a little expensive but I'm pretty sure you're paying for the service, and "atmosphere", which in my opinion is worth it.
