Crema's Take

HITIDES is a sprawling, one-of-a-kind Kansas City destination that captures the laid-back warmth of a Thai retreat with multiple cozy seating nooks perfect for lingering over coffee or tea. While their espresso can be inconsistent, the shop truly shines with creative specialty drinks like their Hawaiian macchiato and signature coconut-cinnamon lattes, plus a stellar lineup of matcha, juices, and pastries that make it a welcoming spot even for non-coffee lovers.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, with creative signature drinks, matcha and tea options too, good cold brew. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu.

Excellent baristas. High quality coffee , I am very serious about my coffee and here I finally was able to drink good coffee. Lovely place with chilling atmosphere , feels like you in Thailand.

If you’re looking for good coffee, this is not it. I got an espresso, which came in a 12 oz cup, and almost half full. It was under extracted and lacked a lot of flavor. If espresso is the base of a lot of their drinks, then the same quality will follow.
