Crema's Take

This airport fixture doubles as a quirky West Virginia gift shop, complete with a giant stuffed Sasquatch and local university memorabilia, giving layover travelers a genuinely charming slice of regional character alongside their coffee. Service here leans toward the genuine and accommodating—at least when the barista is in the mood—though drinks can be wildly inconsistent, and the kitchen's ambitions sometimes exceed its execution on stale toast and budget ingredients. If you're stuck between flights and want a taste of local personality over polished perfection, it's worth a stop, but manage your expectations accordingly.

On August 25, 2025, before my Delta flight at 3:25 pm, I stopped at the bar and ordered a decaf coffee. The woman behind the counter went above and beyond—she brewed a fresh pot and even offered to make it easier for me to take on the plane. Instead of a regular to-go cup, she poured it into a water bottle so it would be more convenient. Her thoughtfulness was outstanding. I wish I could remember her name.

Worst Almost Milk Latte' I ever had. It tasted like Almond Flavored milk with Sweet & Low added. One sip and my stomach turned instantly. I had to throw it away. Absolutely disgusting.

Welcome to West Virginia in this, the only airport shop. Here I met a huge stuffed Sasquash, T-shirts, West Virginia apparel, UWV souvenirs, and Marshall University knick knacks. Besides vintage postcards, and souvenirs, they offer local products made in local small businesses. I had to have the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon! This changes grilled cheese forever. Great shop to grab those souvenirs as you leave town. Accessible open venue. Accessible mens and womens restrooms close by in central airport. Van accessible short-term and long-term parking in paid airport lot.

It's an okay spot for some quick food! I got the loaded nachos, not bad, but ask for a bit more shredded cheese! Don't expect much!

It's a airport diner, what can I say. My wife and I had 2 patty melts made with stale toast and Velveeta and 2 12 oz soft drinks. $33. Ok if you need to fill the void and no other options, just be aware. The server was friendly but it took forever and we were the only ones there.
