Crema's Take

Duke and Kristal have crafted a genuinely welcoming family-owned refuge in Dallas where the hospitality feels as carefully sourced as the coffee itself—whether you're grabbing a creative specialty drink like their blueberry latte or settling in for a slow sit with a pour over, the team remembers you and knows exactly what you need. Beyond the excellent espresso, they're passionate educators who'll guide you through their curated selection of loose leaf teas and whole bean coffee, making it easy to take home café-quality beans at fair prices. With a 4.9-star rating reflecting consistent warmth and attention even during the chaos of Black Friday, this is the kind of place that restores your faith in specialty coffee shops.

Even on Black Friday, when the rest of the building was closed, the Brown Bag was a welcoming haven! I truly appreciated the great hospitality and thoroughly enjoyed my delicious cup of blueberry latte. I couldn't leave without buying a bag of their delicious blueberry fresh ground coffee.

Beautiful family owned coffee/tea shop. You can buy bags to take or you can order a cup to go. Warm and inviting with easy music to relax. Duke and Kristal run the shop and are so welcoming. Tell Duke what you like to drink and then cut him loose to make you something you haven't tried before, he won't miss. Amazing oolong milk tea and caramel apple latte. 10/10

Delicious coffee and amazing friendly service (20/10)! I found out it’s family-owned, which makes it even better. I bought some of their whole beans to brew at home — great quality and fairly priced. Only downside is it’s a bit hard to find if you haven’t been there before since it’s inside a big building, so a few signs would help more people discover them! ☕️

Immediately when I walked in hospitality was on point. I told them that I wasn’t feeling good and Jay knew exactly what I needed. Duke and Jay are the best! Whether its coffee or tea, I will choose this over Starbucks anytime.

Stopped in This morning Based off of other reviews and one in something other than just plain Starbucks! Got some great education about So many styles of loose leaf teas and blends. He has a large selection and is incredibly knowledgeable and it’s a super cool place to just hang out for a minute and chat with the owner and other guests. He mentioned that they sell their teas/ product online as well. He had tea presses and coffee presses that he could make for you fresh in store And serve it to you in the actual press. He has a regular clientele and is super personable! I will definitely be back in referring friends and family. Be sure to stop in worth the trip.!
