Crema's Take
“Nestled in South Lake Tahoe, this café strikes that perfect balance between a quick coffee stop and a lingering brunch destination, with a breakfast menu that keeps locals and visitors coming back despite occasional parking challenges. The kitchen leans into fresh, health-conscious ingredients with standouts like their breakfast specials and hearty curry bowls, though some of their sandwiches benefit from a fork and a forgiving attitude. It's genuinely family-friendly and popular enough to get buzzing around lunch, making it feel like the kind of place where you're tapping into something the community actually loves.”

Amazing healthy but tasty food. It gets busy during lunch time. Difficult to find parking. They have great breakfast menu. Their breakfast special was yummy. I would recommend that dish. The overall service is quick and staff is great.
We came here for brunch! Great menu with good variety.. they also have plenty of parking. We ordered curry bowl and hueves eggs (I don’t recall the full names) but both meals were very full filling. They have lots of indoors and outdoors seating. Visit this cafe if you are in the area
We ordered the tuna melt - a little dry but delicious. I got the Tahoe turkey…with gluten free bread. The gf bread was delicious. The sprouts and ending about the sandwich was excellent. Highly recommended. Lots of options for juices and smoothies as well.
We were excited to try Sprouts as the reviews are so good! We were pretty disappointed, the tuna "burrito" was open faced and impossible to eat without a fork. The bottom of it was soggy, soaked in liquid from the rice, and it was mostly toppings, barely had any actual protein. Husband enjoyed his egg salad Sammy, said it was "4 stars ish". Great service, nice drink selection and an awesome looking smoothie menu.
The place has healthy choices and greens, some items like turkey and tuna sandwiches are a bit dry, and the avocado toast doesn't have much flavor or seasoning, that goes for the egg melt breakfast too. The salad and pastry are better compared to the sandwiches. The coffee latte and coffee beans are not great. The coffee beans have such a weird unappealing flavor to it. The place is very pricey, over the top charge for just okay food that you probably can make at home 3 times better, but that is everything in Tahoe. However, the owner and staff are friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and there is free parking, but the line can be very long at times, and the lot is small.
