Sant Ambroeus Aspen Coffee Bar
520 E Hyman Ave, Aspen, CO
Crema's Take
“This Aspen gem has become a destination unto itself, largely thanks to pastry chef Guido Mogni's dangerously good creations that rival the coffee itself. The warm crew and comfortable seating make it equally suited for a quick espresso or a lingering breakfast over perfectly executed cappuccinos and Italian-inspired pastries like focaccia mortadella. While some find the pour sizes modest, the overall experience—from thoughtfully prepared food to genuine hospitality—keeps locals and visitors coming back.”

Saint Ambroeus coffee shop is dangerous… because of pastry chef Guido Mogni!! He is clearly trying to ruin my self-control;) The deserts he makes are absolutely to die for —and my favorite one called millefoglie. He made it for me and my family last time we visited Aspen. Perfect texture, perfect sweetness, and you can tell it’s not just skill … it’s someone who truly puts heart and soul into every pastry. That was truly memorable!! Thank you to the talented chef behind the bakery magic. I’ll be dreaming about that cake… and can’t wait to come back for more🍰✨One of our favorite places in Aspen! Delicious food coffee with amazing service and atmosphere!!
Another legendary place closed this summer, which made us try this place and we were blown away. Super busy because of the closure of other coffee spots, but the atmosphere, service, food, and coffee are out of this world.
The food was delicious and beautifully done. The coffee, however, was a bit disappointing the cups are so small that you can barely enjoy it, especially the matcha. The service was very friendly, but extremely slow. The gentlemen at the table next to us actually left because of the long wait. That said, maybe it was just an unusually busy day, because overall our experience was still good. One thing to note: it’s definitely on the expensive side for breakfast
Sant Ambroeus was pleasantly surprising. The crew is really warm. It has really comfortable seating and ambiance, not to mention the Breakfast Items and the Coffee is Amazing. If you’re in town grab a coffee and a panini herr. Absolutely worth it.
My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar in Aspen. We got the avocado toast, focaccia mortadella, and cappuccino freddo—everything was top-notch, with incredible quality and taste. The atmosphere felt straight out of Europe, cool and laid-back, and the staff was friendly and on point. Awesome spot, we’ll be back!
