Delicious burrito in a relaxed and clean environment. Good service. They make their own habanero and apple hot sauce. I had the pork al.pastor.in the burrito. Right in downtown Port Townsend next to the Rose Theatre. I saw advertisements for a Valentine's Day dinner for $125/person. 5 courses with beverage pairings. They also had a brunch menu.

So so so good! Could not have been happier with the meal we had. We happened to stumble on happy hour. The chips and salsa are wonderful and the happy hour house margaritas are 🔥. Hubby and I split the tortilla soup which had an amazing depth of flavor. We ordered both the Al pastor tacos and the enchiladas. Both amazing. Especially if they have some house hot sauce on hand, which is not to be missed. Such an incredible find!

My wife and I stopped for a quick bite last week. We both ordered their burrito. First, the price for a basic burrito (beans & rice) is $15, plus $4-$7 for any add-ons (chicken, pork, beef, etc). For $50 (including tax), you get 2 medium size very dry burritos, cut in halves, wrapped in a tortilla stuck to the paper with absolutely no flavor. It is essentially beans, rice and meat, nothing more. Hot sauce comprises of a red liquid in a refill bottle. There was no effort made to make it presentable or appetizing. This is the first time I could barely force myself to eat even half a burrito. We ended up asking for a box so we could take home what we could not eat it so we could feed it to our dog. I wish I had returned the food and walked out.

Stopped by for a late dinner and I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere in the restaurant is unassuming but comfortable. I took our waitress’s recommendation and tried the fish tacos and dang they were good! Flavorful and crispy, and presented on pretty purple homemade tortillas. The spicy margarita was refreshing and paired perfectly. What a great spot!

The food and drinks are really good and brings me memories of back home in San Diego California. The service is always really friendly and the drinks are perfect. I love the story behind the owners and how they started there business. The tortillas and salsa is freshly home made. Do yourself a favor and try the chillaquilles or pozole and you will not be dissapointed. Much Love to the Owners and Kitchen staff for the amazing food and experience everytime we visit La Cocina.
