Crema's Take
“This beloved independent spot has earned its devoted following by doing the fundamentals exceptionally well, serving carefully crafted coffee that reflects genuine care in every cup. Old Tony's has become a genuine neighborhood gathering place in Redondo Beach where regularity feels rewarded and the atmosphere invites you to linger longer than you planned. The kind of place where locals return not just for consistency, but for the human connection that happens between the counter and the regular corner table.”

Amazing views. Right on the water. Food wasn’t great but what you would expect from a restaurant on the pier. I got the fried oysters. I needed to add salt and some hot sauce. I would definitely go back next time I’m in town.
Food was great! We got two lobster tails and a steak ,oysters and clam chowder. Only thing I would skip next time is the clam chowder. Our waiter was super cool. I loved it's vintage look and atmosphere.
Great atmosphere with the fireplace and ocean view it feels very special. Good value for food. With each main dish you get a soup and a salad. After dinner coffe by the fireplace is our favorite part of experience.
A throwback with a great history and pretty darn good food. The views alone make it worth dropping in. And I'd ask for Rick. He knows where the bodies are buried AND how to tell a good story. Dinner and entertainment in one.
Old Tony’s on the Pier is a classic Southern California spot with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that never disappoints. The view alone makes it worth the visit—you’re literally sitting right over the water, watching the waves roll in while the sun sets behind the boats. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. Our server made sure drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. I brought my father here for his birthday, and the staff made it special with a surprise dessert and a genuine smile. The in-house photographer was also polite and professional, capturing a great photo we’ll keep as a memory. The food was fresh and flavorful—the seafood was cooked perfectly, and the clam chowder was excellent. Inside, the place has a relaxed 1960s–1970s vibe with signed celebrity photos on the walls, giving it that timeless pier charm. It’s a little tight inside and the restrooms are small, but that adds to the old-school character. Overall, Old Tony’s is a great value for the price and a perfect place for celebrations, date nights, or simply enjoying a classic Redondo Beach experience.
