Great little cafe, friendly staff. The food was nicely seasoned and fresh.
We had a GrubHub order placed and Le Petit Cafe & Grille made the order quickly. It sat for an hour since the GrubHub driver wasn't moving. An employee of the Cafe called me and said the order has been ready and even though they closed, they will wait for the delivery person. This was beyond what I had expected. The food finally arrived and it was great. We had the Spinach and Feta omelette and the Chicken lunch, which has rice and a salad. The veggies for the omelette were fresh and the chicken was flavorful. Great job! We also had coffees and they were very good. Nice job! We will be visiting in person as soon as the area thaws out. 😁
Waited 45 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. They have "Bacon" listed on their menu, but neglect to clarify that it is turkey bacon. It literally does not state on the front side of the menu that its turkey bacon. The top of the other side of the menu states that the restaurant is halal. But I didn't look at the other side of the menu, because I wanted the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich is something I could have easily made at home. Nothing special. Definitely not worth ten dollars. Especially with that ratty nasty turkey bacon. This place is small and cramped. Long story short, this placed sucked. Won't be back.
I was pleasantly surprised by this Cafe. I stumbled upon it on a walk with my son and I decided to stop by for a brunch. You order at the counter and they will bring the food to the table. The servers were super nice and the food was simple but very tasty. Prices were good too. The plate in the photo was $15 and everything on it was very good. I was there on a Wednesday so it was pretty much empty. Parking can be tricky being on Carson Street but not awful. I will definitely go back.
This is an all day breakfast place, which I absolutely love because who doesn’t like eggs and bread for lunch. I ordered the chicken breakfast, which came with couple slices of grilled chicken breast, toasted bread, potatoes, and sauce of egg. I also got the hibiscus tea as my drink. This is quietly in the list of places that are known for unpretentious no nonsense food. The emphasis here lies on the simplicity and the quality of the food, and not on things like presentation or any other effort to make the food look fancy. The interiors are quite plain as well with emphasis on functionality rather than ambience. When I got my plate, my first thought was this is a lot of food. But then I was extremely hungry, and I was able to finish off the entirety. on some other day, I would definitely need to take home the leftovers. Everything was seasoned well and tasted great. The potatoes had flavour of Rosemary, which I absolutely loved. That Chicken was simply seasoned with salt and pepper, but it was extremely juicy and not dry at all, which is the case with most Chicken breast. They did, however, get my eggs order wrong. I had asked for eggs over easy and I got scrambled, but I did not really complain because I don’t mind scrambled either. Overall, it was a great meal. I was taken back by the key, however, because in my experience Hibiscus that I get from cafe are not sweetened, and that is how I like it, but this one was sweetened and actually was quite sweet. More sweet than I actually would have liked. Having said that it did not taste bad, so I finished off that as well. For the given price, the quantity of food was extremely generous, and I would definitely be back here for that reason alone.
