This restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s a cute, family-owned spot with a warm vibe. Though it’s small and you might wait for a table, the food is absolutely amazing and well worth it. We loved the authentic feel and can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!

A bit of a quirky, hole-in-the-wall place with a terrific breakfast menu. The cinnamon roll french toast is a featured item for a reason. But, they don't skimp on other items. The two pancakes were delicious and large. Plenty to like here.

Expect a wait. In fact, if you’re going on a Sunday, go in and add your name on the computer, and they will text you when the table is ready. Then go to the tiny Farmers Market on the side street and check things out. If you buy food there, save it for later because you want to save room for the Hatchery. I appreciated the get your own coffee and tea station since the kitchen was so busy, the server said she had to wait to take our order. But food came out fast after that. Outstanding pancakes. However, if you’re going to charge $1.50 for an extra teeny cup of maple syrup, then you should let the customer know there is an extra fee! Side of bacon was three tiny pieces. Other tables had better and bigger pieces. Come on, throw in another piece and keep the customer happy. I was excited to try the home fries on the delicious farm-fresh eggs, but they got a little too fancy with it and added some spice that made them inedible me. Keep it simple please! Server was adroit at the upsell. A little too much for my opinion. Still it was a good price for a nice breakfast.

This might be my new favorite breakfast place. Cilantro omelette (with black beans): Savory, well-filled, a good lime flavor in the beans. Thought I wouldn't enjoy the monotony in texture but the flavor certainly made it worth it (and there was a perfect amount of pico to boot). The pictures don't do it justice. Like a little present. Apple Butter Omelette: Sweet but not too sweet. The eggs themselves were not seasoned in any particular way but were cooked to order and had nice layers. Cinnamon Roll French Toast: You see it in the picture. It's very good, very filling. Pancakes: Fluffy and do not fall apart without a satisfying tear. They also serve with Sugar Bob's which makes it all the better. The marbled rye is to die for. Buttered and well-toasted, has a soft bite to it. Homefries were unique, not our style but very good for folks who like all the parts of their potatoes. Bacon was perfectly cooked, so was the sausage. We are full but not feeling sick at all. Worth it for a trip before a good hike or ski!

Great brunch spot. There was a 30-min waitlist so we shopped at the nearby Depot Street Gallery store that had really unique locally-made artwork, soaps, trinkets etc. The cinnamon French toast was FANTASTIC. The sausage & Vermont apple cheddar omelet was delicious too- perfect balance of sweet & savory. Freshly squeezed OJ was refreshing too.
