Cool place, lots of tasty looking desserts. I tried the almond croissant. It was very good. They have a bar in this place. The service was OK but not great. They messed up our order. To make it right, they decided to give it us some macaroons. The only problem was there was three of us there and they only gave us two macaroons. Why not give us three? One for each of us.
Another Sunday Brunch spread I had the opportunity to visit. This place came off a recommendation and wasn’t completely disappointed. Like most brunches I got out this particular Sunday with the girls so I was able to share a few orders and taste a few options. (I like it this way so I’m able to get a feel of more than my own ordered item) Upon first entrance the place is fun and poses a delicious sweet treat that gives fuzzies. The bright colors adds “good times” to your arrival. The restaurant was clean, tidy, and everyone at the counter was extremely friendly! (Parking can be difficult so the earlier you go the better) The food was solid, I wouldn’t go out of my way to indicate delicious or unforgettable. The only thing I tasted that was outstanding was turkey club. (Not my order) All together not a bad spot and definitely happy vibes strolling through there. The food is priced about average, nothing crazy. (if it were I would mention it) Happy Eating! 🍳
Decided to try this place based on their menu and reviews. Several family members were with us. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their selections. Clean, quiet atmosphere, minimally decorated. Excellent variety of foods and several choices split between breakfast items or lunches. Eggs, waffles, wraps sandwiches and pastas. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Pros: HUGE selection of pastries, decent drink selection, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, excellent fast service, insanely delicious pastries Cons: park and walk, drinks are meh I say that you have to park and walk, but I think there's a parking garage nearby, so you don't have to walk that far if you can't find street parking. More importantly, they have lots of freshly made treats and they all taste delicious!!! The coffee drinks were ok, nothing too spectacular (they're ok, just not super flavorful), but you will definitely need something to wash the pastries down with. If you want overly sweet treats, they have those, if you want not-too-sweet treats, they have those too. I strongly recommend the Kouign-Amann (sweet, but not overly so), and the seasonal cruffins (for something sweeter). Also, even though the line was super long--its usually out the door--they always manage to keep it moving quickly.
I got the quesadilla chilaquiles (which I never had before or heard of) I thought it was unique, it was good, I give the food a 3 out of 5. I also got the hibiscus tea and it was pretty good. I love that the staff is friendly and attentive. The place also offers a variety of yummy desserts and pastries that you cannot pass up! The one I tried was the seeded scone, very tasty.
