Cha Tea

Crema's Take

Cha Tea brings a relaxed, hobby-friendly vibe to Mesa with quality specialty drinks like matcha tea and creative options like lemongrass orange peach tea, though consistency issues with orders and service have left some customers frustrated. The shop doubles as a cozy hangout space where you can linger over drinks and pastries, and there's even a Warhammer figure shop tucked inside for an unexpectedly fun bonus. While the drinks and atmosphere have their charm, it seems like execution in the kitchen and at the counter doesn't always match the promise of what you're ordering.

Won't be coming back here. We've been here a few times, but won't be back again. The bánh mì is ok, but not good enough to make up for the sub par service. The woman at the register really shouldn't be the person at the store working with customers. She is rude and has an extra talent for giving people dirty looks. Have the similar experience with her before but hoped maybe it was just a one-off. But now after having been there several times and the last three times getting the same thing from her, we're done with this place. Ingredients on the sandwiches are pretty good but the bread itself isn't super fresh. Smoothies aren't bad. Oh, this would be a great place to go and you could even tolerate the not 100% fresh bread if it was a good vibe and friendly service. As it is, it's not enough to balance out. Too many other options and too many other places in the valley to spend my food dollar, so this one is off my list.

Raw pate. Literally look up a picture of raw chicken liver, look at the pictures in my review and tell me its not raw. Cooked pate will always be some shade of brown NEVER red of ANY KIND. Whoever made this needs to be fired. It's a health hazard. Wasn't there for long so maybe the atmosphere and service was nice. Idk.

What a great place the drinks are really good, so is the ice cream and treats. It’s a nice place to sit down and enjoy some relaxation. If you enjoy war hammer there is even a figure shop inside with figure painting supplies. For drinks I recommend the watermelon smoothie with popping boba added

I am so disappointed. They always take advantage of people. I asked for Pistachio tea and they gave me milk tea insisting it was Pistachio tea. The lady even told me it looks yellow because of the light and it will be green when I walk out. As if I don't know colors and taste. Tell me if this looks like Pistachio. Horrible treatment! Somebody educate them that Allergies could cost them for giving the wrong orders.

Wednesday evening visit. They were out of sugarcane so one person in my party had to change their order. We had the lemongrass orange peach tea and coconut smoothie. There was no wait to order. It was on the warmer side inside. The service was fine.
