I callled Fri afternoon to resolve this issue and waited through the weekend for them to call back without any response to make it right. I visited this fine establishment on Friday, 1/30/26 (first time customer). Just before closing. My wife was excited because they had fresh baked bread and banana bread. We got home and put the bread away. She decided she wanted some banana bread so she took it out of the box it came in and looked at it, smelled it.. While looking at the bottom of the loaf she noticed it had mold on it. So immediately I called the bread place to let them know there was mold on the bottom of the banana bread. I figured it was because they placed the loaf in the plastic container too soon after baking and it wasn't completely cooled yet. So I left them a message on Fri. As of yet I haven't received a call back for a replacement. I assume I most likely won't get one back considering the other ratings that others have left. This isn't the place to take care of thier customers if there was a problem. For future reference if you order the banana loaf bread be sure to check for mold. As this was very unappettizing for my wife to see and she was not happy. It cost her almost $10 and they don't bother to take care of it. We later tried the bread which was the sourdough loaf, it was very dense and was way to sour. Not good. I expected better. I personally won't be patroning this business in the future. Let this be a warning on how this business operates. In today's world it's important to take care of the customers you do have, as no one knows or understands what the future holds. I am clearly just one of many that had visited this place and was not happy or had a problem with thier service and left a bad review because the owner refuses to recognize she made a mistake and doesnt want to make it right for the customer. It's sad because my wife would've been back many times as she is a fan of fresh baked goods. All she had to do was call me back to make it right. Perhaps this review would be more positive. In just 3 days the banana loaf accumulated more mold then what was on there after we bought it which leaves me to believe this banana loaf was just old and past it's date. Buyer beware.. This place sells old stuff. There is no reason whatsoever for this to be almost covered in mold in just 3 days.

Just left this place for lunch. I was fortunate enough today to experience the Hungarian mushroom soup. Wow! Yummy! I've been trying to get to this place for quite some time now and finally caught them for a late lunch before they close at 3:00. I was extremely impressed. The place was clean and had a friendly environment. When I arrived there were about 17 people dining and yet the place was quiet. Absolutely lovely. The food was exquisite. We bought a loaf of country sourdough and had it sliced for home. I really enjoyed it. I'll be back.

Such a good place for lunch for a quick stop for banana bread. The customer service is always so kind! Be quick in the morning if ya want certain donuts 🍩 cause they sell out fast which makes sense since they are 🤤

Great experience! I stopped in for a Davsont (croissant donut) and I'm so glad they had a few left. I also bought a gluten free brownie to take home. The pastries are delicious and the staff are very nice!

Oh dear lord, thank you for blessing the city of Coeur d Alene with this bakery! 🙏🏻 The pastries looks so amazing, but they taste even better. Probably one of the freshest and best cheese danish I have ever eaten! The woman working behind the counter, whom I am assuming is the owner or maybe part owner? Regardless, she was sooo nice and inviting, and appeared to really enjoy making these delectable creations! I can’t wait to try the round of Garlic Sour Dough bread that I also picked up! Thank you for a wonderful first visit! 🫶🏻 I will be back for sure!
