Crema's Take
“Tupi Coffee brings authentic Brazilian warmth to Sacramento with stellar specialty drinks like their signature Moreno and genuinely excellent pastries, especially the iconic pão de queijo that keeps regulars coming back. The standout experience is the upstairs rooftop terrace—a shaded, relaxed haven perfect for lingering with friends, catching up on work, or soaking in the community energy they actively foster through local running events and live gatherings. It's the kind of place where the friendly service and thoughtful food make you feel genuinely welcomed, not just served.”

Excellent Brazilian coffee and pastry shop. We enjoyed the tasty coffee and chance to warm up with friends inside on a cold morning. We'll try to be back next time we're in the area!
This is one if my go-to spots. The Moreno is my favorite drink & the Pao de queijo (cheesy bread) is always a treat. Love how they support the local run community & host live events! The rooftop is gorgeous! Vibe is always happy. Great for friends to hang, date night, studying- really anyone could enjoy this spot!
What a lovely little place to spend your time. Food was delicious and unique. Service was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop!
Tupi Coffee is one of the best coffee shops in Sacramento. The upstairs outdoor seating area is incredible, with plenty of shade and a really relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and hang out. The downstairs space is large, bright, and great for working or meeting up with friends. There’s a ton of seating and it never feels cramped. We had the egg sandwich and it was seriously amazing. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The coffee was also outstanding — smooth, rich, and clearly high quality. You can tell they really care about what they serve. There’s also a wide food menu with pastries and lunch options, including Brazilian items you don’t see everywhere. It’s a great spot for more than just a quick coffee. It’s a warm, inclusive space with friendly staff and a great energy. Definitely LGBTQ+ friendly and very community-oriented. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Midtown.
Tupi was a surprising delight. I ended up going here right before an event around 3:00 p.m.. there were a few people within the coffee shop enjoying their drinks and small bites. The space itself was clean but also warm because of the colorful exterior that greeted you as you walked in.I you were greeted with the fresh smell of brewing coffee and espresso with a hint of sweetness that came from the treats close to the register. I want to say thank you to the two people that were behind the bar. The first person who took my order was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks. It was my first time there and I asked him what would he recommend and the drink I was looking at was the Moreno and he said that is my absolute favorite. So I ended up getting it. Hats off to the barista that made my drink because it was simply decadent. It was the right amount of milk, cinnamon chocolate, and sugar that made it taste almost like a liquid choco flan brownie. Yeah that's a lot of things mixed together but that's what my mind created in my head. I also had a carrot cupcake as a snack. This was more of a small loaf of bread because of how much it packed. Each bite had both carrot and walnuts and the entire thing was so moist. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying the other drinks and items on their menu
