Manhattan Bagel & Coffee

Can't wait to go back. Wish we were in town longer to visit more than once. There so many options that sounded great. My husband had the #2 which is the Boston Common, Make You Own Breakfast Sandwich. I had the #9, the Beat which is Smoked Salmon, Plain Cream Cheese, Tomato, Cucumber, Red Onions, Alfalfa Sprouts & Capers. Both were Delicious and they did not skimp on the filling!! Staff was friendly and atmosphere was great!

Decent breakfast sandwiches, but not sure they justify the premium price. Stopped by a few times for early morning sandwiches. There aren’t many local spots open as early as 5 a.m. besides Dunkin, so I wanted to give them a fair shot. It’s strictly a grab-and-go operation now as they recently ripped out the only three window seats to install ordering kiosks. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were fine. You have to be pretty confident to charge $10 for a breakfast sandwich when you're exactly 50 feet away from a Dunkin’. When your neighbor is slinging cheap egg-and-cheeses, 'fine' doesn't cut it. The drinks, however, are more interesting. The cardamom rose latte and beetroot latte I tried were great. The latter tasted like lightly sweetened beet milk, almost like drinking a vegetable smoothie, and it felt oddly refreshing in the morning.

Went on Sunday the 18th. Ordered bagels and cream cheese. Things moved quickly and I took my bagels home to enjoy with the family. I should have looked closer at the shill reviews.... Sus to say the least. This place should NOT try to sell itself as NY Bagels. They are FAR from it. I was really hoping for a quality bagel, but Manhattan Bagel & Coffee Co. missed the mark completely. The bagels were incredibly stale/bready and tough to chew. A good bagel should have a nice crust and a soft, chewy interior, but these felt like they had been sitting out for days. Honestly, they tasted and felt almost exactly like cheap, pre-packaged supermarket bagels. For a place with "Bagel" in the name, I expected much better. If you're looking for an authentic or fresh bagel in Boston, I would NOT recommend this spot. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Manhattan Bagels Shop is one of my favorite go-to spots for a quick and satisfying bite! They always serve bagels and coffee super quickly, and everything is fresh and hygienically prepared. I really appreciate how clean and well-organized the place always is. Every time I visit, I love trying their new varieties — each one tastes absolutely delicious and unique. Their bagels are soft, flavorful, and perfectly toasted, and the coffee is always rich and refreshing. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes sure your order is just right. This place was pretty good. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (can't remember which one) and it was pretty good. The chive spread was a bit overwhelming but it was still good.
