Crema's Take
“Equinox Coffee in Hattiesburg has mastered the art of feeling like a second home—it's the kind of place where the buzz of activity never tips into chaos, making it equally welcoming whether you're settling in for hours of work or grabbing a quick iced latte. The baristas clearly take pride in their craft, evident in thoughtfully executed drinks like their Toffee Nut Chai Latte and distinctive creations like the Fireside Apple Cider with its perfect caramel-cinnamon balance. Items Tried: -Cheesy Biscuit Muffin -Toffee Nut Chai Latte (Modifications: Iced with Oat Milk) Piercing Overview: Ambiance: 9 out of 10 Cute vibes. Intimate setting to complete school work or to read a good book. Food/Drink: 8 out of 10 The barista mentioned that the cheesy biscuit muffin was savory and tasted like the red lobster cheddar bay biscuits and she DID NOT LIE...It was almost exact except their muffin was way softer which I enjoyed. The Toffee Nut Chai was good but it seemed to be slightly watered down but still enjoyable. Price: $ Very inexpensive, way cheaper than Starbucks ill tell you that. Parking: 7 out of 10 There is limited parking. Visit and follow my military and civilian friendly travel page for more insight on where the hidden gems are located at a duty station near you... Visited earlier this morning and really loved how cozy it felt inside. We both had iced lattes and they tasted great + refreshing! The baristas working were also very friendly and kind :)
Equinox is a must! I moved from out of town and had no clue about anything, and I stopped here to give it a try. I loved the coffee and atmosphere so much, I made it my go-to place. Huge shoutout to baristas Colby, Lauren, and Rosemary for not only making amazing lattes but for also having great ideas on days that I had no clue what flavor I wanted. If you can handle gluten, I super recommend Charles’ muffins (especially the lemon). If you’re looking for a super cute coffee shop with good music, amazing lattes (super recommend their matcha and dirty chai), plants everywhere, comfy seats, long hours, and wonderful staff then you won’t find it anywhere besides Equinox.
Walking into this coffee shop feels like coming home. It's buzzing but not noisy, filled with people chatting or working on their laptops. The vibe makes it easy for everyone to do their own thing. The barista is amazing—super friendly, funny, and makes a killer cup of coffee. Oh, and the pastries are to die for—really fresh and tasty. What's great is that this place isn't just about the coffee; it feels like the heart of the community. People just seem to click and become friends. The only bummer is that I live so far away. If I could, I'd be here all the time. It's more than a coffee shop; it's a little slice of heaven.
Relaxing decor and atmosphere, cozy. Tries the Fireside Apple Cider, perfect! I love the undertones of caramel and cinnamon blended into the apple cider. They have free wifi, snacks, apparel, outdoor seating, etc. The staff was very professional and efficient. We will definitely return!
