Any butterscotch lovers out there, this is the spot for a perfect form of butterscotch in drinks! One of their signature menu is the latte with butterscotch cream and I love it so much. This was one of the best things that I’ve had lately. I tried their ube milk with the cream as well and wow it got me loving ube even more. The staff were very friendly and the space was not so spacious but had plenty of seatings. Loved their benches. I’ll definitely come back to try other things here!

I got a matcha Americano topped with their double matcha cream and it was not too heavy but I could see their double matcha latte being a little too much. I was a quite confused because I asked whether they were able to do the double matcha unsweetened, but they said only matcha Americano and latte come unsweetened? So they must use a sugary mix elsewhere. The strawberry matcha had fresh fruit but was sugar water even at less sweet. There are outlets and 2-person tables, which are often occupied but people flow in and out, with both yappers and workers. They have validated parking. The baristas are very friendly and good at explaining the menu!!

Dumbstruck Coffee in LA is my first coffee stop review of 2026, and it set the bar higher than expected. I went in for the matcha, not just out of curiosity but because they take it seriously. Their matcha is ceremonial grade, and you can taste the difference right away. It is smooth, grassy, and clean, with none of the bitterness or chalky aftertaste that lower quality matcha usually has. The texture is thick and well whisked, not watered down. Even without sweeteners, it holds up. The pastries deserve just as much attention. The salt breads are soft inside with a light crisp on the outside, rich without being heavy. The savory options like mentaiko and mushroom feel balanced, not greasy, and the sweet ones do not rely on sugar to stand out. Everything looks fresh, and it tastes that way too. The space feels calm and focused, the kind of place where people actually come for the coffee and stay because it is comfortable. Service is straightforward and friendly, no rushing, no attitude. If you care about matcha quality and want something closer to what you would expect from a proper tea-focused spot rather than a trendy add-on, Dumbstruck gets it right. Starting 2026 here felt like a good call. PS. I forgot to ask if their pastries is from Out Of Also, there is free parking on the side, so it's good!

Perfect timing to be in Ktown for my haircut as I figured Dumbstruck just recently expanded their presence beyond residing in City of Industry. It’s still their soft opening and they offered half price for the pastries. The venue setting was probably not my favorite but their drinks totally made the visit worthy. Thanks to the barista who got me sold to their signature Butterscotch Cream Latte, and she’s nothing but right that it deserved the podium. More on the sweet side, but still giving the bold coffee kick. It’s interesting how it could be so creamy yet not overly milky at the same time. Not that much into the Almond Danish I got, but would totally come back for their other drinks!

New coffee shop in K-town! Tried the Butterscotch Cream Latte and Hojicha Einspanner, really liked both of them. They were flavorful but not overly sweet. The inside is small, but very clean and has natural sunlight coming in through the glass window. 10/10 recommend!!
