Crema's Take

Philz Coffee's signature hand-poured experience sets it apart, with baristas who genuinely customize each cup to your exact sweetness and strength preferences, creating an unexpectedly personal coffee ritual in the heart of DTLA. The iced mint mojito is a local legend for good reason—refreshing and herbaceous without being cloying—and the cozy, welcoming vibe makes it equally suited for lingering with a laptop or grabbing something quick before catching the train. Fair warning: it can get snug during peak hours, but the quality of both coffee and hospitality makes it worth the squeeze.

Great place with plenty of places to sit clean restrooms and close to the train station 🚉. Across the the street from the block shopping center so it’s filled with place nearby .

Love the custom pour over vibe here, the staff actually asks how sweet or strong you want it, like the cozy atmosphere, my mint mojito was refreshing and not overly sweet, quick service for DTLA, and plenty of grab-and-go energy for a workday coffee run, prices are reasonable, will happily come back.

Philz Coffee offers a unique experience with its customizable, hand-brewed coffee. The rich, bold flavors are tailored to your preferences, and the friendly baristas make it feel personal. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing or working. A bit pricey, but worth the quality and experience.

I heard it's one of California's top three coffee brands, so I visited. I ordered the most famous menu, " iced mint mojito coffee." The fresh mint scent was different and delicious. and you can also charge at the table.

The coffee is fantastic, the pastry is solid nice. The clerks seem friendly but they do not tourists taking pictures in the store. Not enough space for dining that you may have to stand if limited seats were all taken.
