Wow! As a visitor from North LA who supports the arts, the AcA was more than I’d bargained for. Make time to stop in here. This is truly a place for the arts to come alive. Whether it be visual or performing arts, this facility is making a difference in this region. They are also actively participating in teaching the arts to local public schools.

The Acadiana Center for the Arts (AcA) is a major arts and cultural hub in Lafayette, Louisiana, supporting local artists, providing arts education, and hosting performances, exhibitions, and events in its downtown facility, which includes the James Devin Moncus Theater. It serves an eight-parish region, aiming to provide equitable access to the arts through various programs, workshops, and its role as a central point for the local arts scene, including the monthly ArtWalk. The AcA is a jewel to the local public community & for those visiting/traveling through our City of Lafayette that are interested in our past/present cultures/lifestyle through arts. I live just a few blocks from The AcA & have taken my grandchildren to visit this place. I've noticed it's so clean/fresh smelling, everything appears to be well organized (i.e: if you're looking for something particular it's organized & you can't go wrong in your search), and customer service are helpful, understanding, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend The AcA to family, friends, or ppl in general seeking arts. Good job, Lafayette.

I used to go and see my daughter‘s exhibits because for a year she won from a contest because she can draw us if God holds her hand by drawing Wisteria maybe that’s why I need to Heaven and this is where artist display their work and it’s amazing that they can do. They are our future.

This is a wonderful venue to enjoy live music. Ghost Note band was incredible. We drove in from Alabama to see them. The staff was helpful and kind. Great seats!

10-8-23 Really interesting artwork was on display... and this is a cool venue for comedy shows. This was my first time going to the Art Center, and I was impressed with the metal work that was on display.
